I'd say past TCPA Lemon jumps ship if he can.

As a TCPA “expert”, this is the first case he’s won, and he can’t even get his fees like a professional lol.

I hope MoRon consult another legal firm in regards to his running up the bill. The TCPA is designed to be filed right away, to prevent costs running up. As an expert he should do this, and work to ensure the best result for his clients.

You know, like Sam Johnson did at a fith of the cost, and won months ago.

He must be lacking any insight into how his actions look to everyone else. That or he has a couple of very pissed of clients. Or 3. Depends on who is paying up for all of this. Not like this wasn't discussed in the first meeting in may when staggering was mentioned. Wow wow

Zaid is also pretty exceptional. Starting to wonder about the standards set for them. Hopefully Chupp will look even closer now.

I'd seriously like to look at past cases and see if lemon fuehrer did this before.

Chupp should reopen the case and do the job he was given to begin with. If he actually DID his job honestly instead of the lazy idiot way, the KV collective would be owing Vic.

Between how much of a mess it is, i think it would be best to let the CoA deal with this one. With how chupp ruled early in the case and what he did to both parties(telling ty to stop objecting and not allowing lemonpledge to make some points in his case), it would probably be a nightmare.

@AnOminous can you give some clarification on the logistics of chupp just reopening a case?

We can only hope this is a much bigger lapse of judgement than 100 pages about the faulty notarization, to which Chupp said "meh?"

Who knows though - maybe Chupp himself did similar things in his law practice and this will endear J-ADOLPH LEMONKOPF to chupp.

I doubt it, he can just explain that the TCPA is designed to prevent the extreme costs associated with litigation, and discovery by halting all of that.

That as a TCPA Expert J Sean should have known this, and not filed filings that were not needed for the TCPA motion, discovery, or wasting time on other matters. Especially since a non-TCPA expert was able to efficiently win the case quicker, and at 1/5 the cost simply because he followed the spirit of the TCPA.

Which is; FILE IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, to avoid the extra costs, and drag out the issue.

Lemontwink wasted hours, and money on things not needed for a proper TCPA defence ( researching Nicky, how to depose him, trying to depose Ty, and Slatosch, and pointless affidavits that contradict each other ); and technically might have forgone the TCPA protections, because he actively sought discovery from the plaintiff, and depositions, therefore possibly indicating that the case does not apply to the TCPA and needs fact finding.

Under the rules quoted by Lemoine, he actually MUST explain his reasons for the bills.

Plus at the hearing he kept going back to Johnson having won quicker, and at significantly less cost; and stated Lemontwink might be charging too much. He even ran down some filings, and only said some are proper ones.
