Her daughter would only have dual Canadian citizenship if Ashli submitted an pretty lengthy application to the Canadian Govt for it. Seeing as she couldn’t even get her own paperwork sorted Im going to assume little Sloan (did they really name her after FBDO?) is not a dual citizen, just a plain old American for now.

Wikipedia says: "Under Bill C-37 which went into force on 17 April 2009, every person born outside of Canada as the first generation born abroad (i.e., born to a Canadian parent who derives their citizenship from birth or naturalization in Canada) on or after 17 April 2009 is automatically a Canadian citizen by descent at birth."
Also dual citizenship isn't generally something that's formally recognized so much as you can simply qualify for citizenship in more than one country either by birth or naturalization. Some countries explicitly outlaw it and require you to choose one and lose the other but neither the U.S. nor Canada does this.
