Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

Her daughter would only have dual Canadian citizenship if Ashli submitted an pretty lengthy application to the Canadian Govt for it. Seeing as she couldn’t even get her own paperwork sorted Im going to assume little Sloan (did they really name her after FBDO?) is not a dual citizen, just a plain old American for now.

Are you sure about that?

Wikipedia says: "Under Bill C-37 which went into force on 17 April 2009, every person born outside of Canada as the first generation born abroad (i.e., born to a Canadian parent who derives their citizenship from birth or naturalization in Canada) on or after 17 April 2009 is automatically a Canadian citizen by descent at birth."

Also dual citizenship isn't generally something that's formally recognized so much as you can simply qualify for citizenship in more than one country either by birth or naturalization. Some countries explicitly outlaw it and require you to choose one and lose the other but neither the U.S. nor Canada does this.

Seriously. These people inventing narratives that Ashli was some helpless and abused captive flies in the face of about four years of evidence to the contrary.
Having an abusive spouse doesn't make you a helpless captive, or a good person. Being a shitty person is not mutually exclusive with being a victim of another shitty person. I've been pointing out the norm of these types of relationships for anyone who is unaware, like null seemed to be in the live stream. There may be some other explanation, but the details lowtax is giving out are telling a story I've seen countless times with abuse victims that finally left. If someone accesses the divorce papers the truth will be pretty easy to figure out.

This is a man who apparently passes out from frequent box wine and ambien binges. If someone that sloppy manages to put one over on any adult who isn't severely autistic, mentally rétarded, brain damaged, &c., at least half the blame is on the victim's shoulders for being enough of an idiot to have trusted them in the first place. It's almost as bad as giving your life savings to Chris-chan because he promised to pay you back during the dimensional merge. Not everything is a lifetime original movie.
It is real comforting to think that way, but you can't really know much about the subject if this is your opinion.

Where's the info that one of Lowtax's spawn was gnawing her fingers coming from?

Yes, I am. The kid is totally eligible for Canadian citizenship but there’s still a pain in the ass process to make it legal and get your shiny Canadian citizenship papers. Matters like deciding if she will be applying for dual citizen or renounce her American citizenship entirely. They aren’t just going to take Ashli’s word for everything if she calls up the embassy. There’s always been an issue with “border babies” near Detroit and they do require paperwork to be in order to clarify citizenship status and make it legal

Just because you’re eligible or entitled to citizenship via a parent doesn’t make it a reality - the paperwork process does.

People get triggered and weird about the word "victim". Just because someone is a victim doesn't make them blameless in their victimhood. And just because a victim isn't blameless, that doesn't negate the fact that they're a victim. Simba Lion is literally a shooting victim, but whose fault is it that he got shot? lol

I'm not seeing anyone saying she is a helpless victim and that this is 100% "mangosteen man bad". But it's pretty clear she is a victim. What, you think she's living it up right now sipping champagne in a fucking shelter?
e: well I guess that one guy is white knighting her pretty hard, the guy who says he knows her. But other than him I don't see anyone else making her out to be innocent in this. But again not all victims are innocent.
When there's talk of abuse it absolutely implies that you're meant to pity or take the side of the victim even if they're not outright stated to be innocent. They both played themselves in their own way and are getting what they deserve in one form or another as a result of their own choices and actions leading to this chain of events. I don't care if either one of them is living in a mansion or a dumpster, it's all the same either way and I won't pity either of them no matter how things shake out.

The law seems pretty clear you are a citizen at birth if you are born to at least one Canadian citizen who was a born or naturalized Canadian citizen. Actually getting proof of it is another matter.

"You likely are a Canadian citizen if you…[. . .]were born outside Canada and at least one of your parents was:
born in Canada
naturalized in Canada before your birth[.]"

I think the more important question is what will happen to the leaf wife if she actually tries to cross the border with an infant child without any evidence of citizenship or proof of custody.

It's Canada. Claim asylum from a abusive American and I bet Canada will welcome the'm both back with open arms.

She’d be stupid to leave now. Any divorce lawyer would tell her to stick around because she going get at least half of lowtax’. She can wring even more out of him if she says she won’t try for sole custody if he gives her more.

I am going to laugh crazy hard if it turns out this is what kills SA: Lowtax meeting up with a Mormon side piece away from his three kids (with two different women) and his wife divorces him so hard he has to sell/close the site.

If she's mormon the other wife is probably part of the deal so he's getting two break ups for the price of one

She'd be super stupid to leave now because whether she likes it or not, Richard has parental rights she can't just terminate. If she does something stupid like leave the country with a child with the intention of permanently interfering with his parental rights, that is in fact kidnapping.

She can't legally do that without either consent (which is not likely to happen immediately) or by sticking around to bring the issue to court.

It's also Canada. They can and do reciprocally enforce child custody orders. Commit a crime about them and they'll extradite you in either direction, or otherwise enforce legal obligations.

Considering it's Richard I bet he ultimately abandons the kid to the mother. He'd be a pretty shit custodial parent frankly.

That is my dream. And the screaming troons who have been safely ensconced in SA spread out to be triggered worse than tumblr all over the normienet.

You fucking smooth brains can't see the forest for the trees. She's crossing the border alright, but not the canadian one. The dogs are the pay for passage. The girl is to pay off the cartels.

Snow Mexican tries to become Mexican-Mexican? That's a bold strategy, Cotton, lets see if it pays off for her.

I posted this in the SA Community thread but it probably belongs here too:

Well it’s now obvious why Lowtax is chasing Mormon poon.

Logan Day, the white haired crazy eyed UT chick, is going to save Something Awful!

You see Logan is a brand strategist to the punks and the rebels, a lady who knows Gen X and millennials don’t buy products, they buy statements about themselves and experiences.

So instead of crazy dependent wife he’s found a soulless brand story teller who will make SA rise from the ashes under her mighty marketing story telling fist!! A Mormon savior for Lowtax who knows how to sell shit to the youngins!

I’m sure the Pateron bucks have hired Logan’s “Giants in the Sky”one woman boutique marketing firm for a major SA rebranding campaign. Lowtax said it was a business trip after all!

Trying to archive but I’m 198 in the queue Rt now. So I’ll just copy and paste the text of her elevator speech for now and spoiler

About
I help seriously unique brands reach their potential by using a 3-Part Story Method to craft a marketing experience that delivers lifetime customers. Interruption marketing doesn't work with Millennials and Generation Z; you need to speak their language and make them the hero of your business' story.

That's what I do best.

Still reading?

Let me ask you these 3 questions:

🔸 Do you feel like you'll never find a way to make your business one of the Cool Brands that people will be proud to rep?

🔸 Do you want to charge a premium for your product or service, but aren't sure how to provide value that people will pay for? (How are iPhones worth a grand?)

🔸 Do you feel frustrated with all the marketing mumbo-jumbo out there, and just want to organically stand out from the pack for good?

Answer ‘Yes!’ to any of these?

Then keep reading. 👇👇👇

I know the struggle of trying to make your mark in a saturated digital world. In running eCommerce businesses, I was incredibly fed up with running ad campaign after ad campaign and feeling like I was just spinning my wheels. Then it clicked: people don't buy products or features anymore. They buy experiences and statements about themselves. I've been studying the art of storytelling for business for years, and it's made a huge difference in my businesses. I know it will do the same for yours.

I started Giants in the Sky because I believe that businesses can provide more than a product or service—they can change the way their customers see the world and themselves for the better.

Stories are the oldest tool in human history to create trust and build a brighter future for others. Wouldn't it be awesome if businesses could take advantage of that power to help their customers in a more human way? I think so.

If you're still reading, then maybe some of this makes sense to you.

That makes it sound like she didn't intend to live with him in the US when they got married, or even once a child was on the way, which is kind of weird. It makes it sound like a green card marriage, for sure, complete with anchor baby.
Sounds like she is full of shit. Had 9 months to find a way to take a 3 hour flight back to Canada.

They're both broken losers who sadly have reproduced.

I got pregnant when I came for a visit, was in America long enough after conception that I started having pregnancy related sickness (which would probably take weeks to manifest) and was then sick for an entire nine month period in which I couldn't take the time to go back to Canada.

Also, why is she coming "for a visit" with the man she's married to? She doesn't want to live with him full time but let her impregnate her?

This whole story is absurd. Both of these people are idiots who deserve what they get.
