Furry Fandom and Drama General

Here's a gem from a 49 year old furry named Alex Spastic

Some Pony video

"So MLP took a shot at Communism. I could not believe it!

We are not equals and we never will be.
Some will try and fail, some succeed and others will never try.

It so easy to see the destructive nature of the Socialist mindset. The Elitist attitudes towards the common working man by those in power. Those in academic circles spinning wild theories on what the West actually is. AOC who not only helped cost New York twenty five thousand new jobs but also wants to blame global warming on white people.

I don't know how many more people Communism has to kill before people dump it but hopefully it will be sooner then too late.

I know many like to use the term "Democratic Socialism" but let me say this. If the whole world voted that I was a airline pilot that doesn't mean I know how to fly a airplane. Something works when people concentrate on a particular subject. The idea that someone in office knows how to run a economy and government is laughable. The Democrats have turned their back on the working class and that has cost them but they never noticed what it cost America.

People have to have the freedom to run something and also fail. If something bad is propped up eternally by bureaucracy everyone suffers."

A 49 year old man is watching My Little Pony and ranting about communism while drawing porn. Doesn't anyone else find this sad?

One of the things they drill into people in art school is that it's better to be a dabbler in many trades than a master of one.

Yeah, a friendo says the same thing even if his main portfolio involves anthropomorphic characters & creature design. That being said though, he's got a wide breadth of understanding regarding various subject matters & mediums, both traditional, digital, and their respective 2D and 3D counterparts.

Don't really want to namedrop him here though since he can be a bit special on the internet at times, but he's got enough self-awareness to regret any mistakes after the fact & subsequently tries to resolve them.

And yes he's dabbled in the more degenerate digital arts of furries, and found to not like it despite the extra traffic from furfags. Guess he's got morals of some kind at least.

There is some furry on Twitch and DeviantArt, Andronious88. Literally just shit talked this guy a bunch and one morning woke up to 20-30+ messages about how he was losing his mind. Things like "I am in pain" and "Please, leave me alone. I am not going to make it."

He's streaming right now on Twitch. 5'3" hispanic Furry, lives with morbidly obese Mexican boyfriend.

Can post screencaps of this stuff if anyone is interested.

His follow count is weak as fuck, friend's long deleted channel had double the follow count and 10 fold the active views.

Yeah, I thought maybe. I have basically had this dude as a personal lolcow for a while. Things went pretty far at some points.

agreed. sounds like someone's just here to try and get the poor fuck some more views. Dude needs to stop playing a game that he'll never climb the channel ladder with a handful of viewers.

No, but I can see why you think that. Attached is a discord sperg-out after he found out we knew his BF's name

archive.li/today/etc. are down for me.

Saw this degenerate statement pop up on reddit with only the name blocked out. Too bad it's still up on twitter :^)

No you degenerate tart, you only live off it because you can't do anything else.

Hey I don’t blame them, money’s money.
If I could make a quick $200 by drawing some random fox getting railroaded by Tony the Tiger, I’d do it.

Yeah, furry art in general is fine to have in a portfolio and such but the difficult part is many folk who are furries that try to later move into professional art courses have difficulty adapting to them because so many have neglected to do things like figure and life drawing from photos and models, and only really know stylized art. It ends they up have to jump all the way back and start from basics.

Furry and general art fandoms also have a weird kind of sensitivity to things like referencing. Some folk see it as blatant cheating to ref from photos but art schools often require you to do this and won't accept art created from 'imagination' only, and you need to always include the inspiration and references used. Lack of references ends up how you get people drawing terrible anatomy and every single animal the same way a dog is drawn. Deer? Dog with antlers.

Working in 3D is a fantastic skill to have and again, still something that 2D artists could highly benefit from - Even just the ability to /think/ in 3D. Rotate a characters head in your mind and try to understand where certain parts would/wouldn't be visible from, all that. Or else we have furries with sideways muzzles and Picasso-esque eyes showing from all angles.

So fuckin true. They sent me a number of reddit threads from /r/furryartschool of newfags going ballistic or losing their shit over real critiques of their shitty art

Maybe be able to spot some true lolcows there

There's one i saw of some bad artist flaunting around their trans pride colored fursona and couldn't handle the fact people can tell they're living in symbols and never actually took the time to expand their knowlege

Right now for instance, typography is stupid trendy and a lot of beer companies are going insane for commissioning custom labels from artists who do it. It's just simply not one of those art types that gets a lot of attention online for some reason, guessing since it just can't often fit into fan art and character circles and all that so lacks the younger audience who like to share such things. But it's definitely alive and thriving - Just in more professional circles.

Typography doesn't have much overlap with dog dicks, unfortunately, and if it ever does then I would request to never see it.

It bugs me to no end when I see people get mad at using references. Nevermind the fact that art apropriation has been a major part of art culture for the past 100 years!

Speaking as a person who recently graduated from art school, internet art cultures breeds terrible art practices out of conformity and intimidation. Criticism is relagated to cancel culture and creates a false narrative on how art is designed.

The poor little thing looks scared as though he knows whats coming.

twitter is a complete goldmine for anything furry, they most likely believe that it's a "safe-space" for them along with the MAPs and zoophiles. it's gotten to the point where you barely have to search to find stuff like this.
