Look up any artist with 10k followers. If they also tweet personal shit, they don't get 1/50 the interactions. It's not even a subtle fact, yet one Jasona clearly misunderstood. I see it with art whores as well; they buy 3 drawings a week and a certain fetish crowd follows them. Then they start asking for friendships or opinions, realize nobody gives a shit, start a poll on their next commission's content and suddenly they feel loved again.

I never got the appeal of 3D porn. When it isn't some uncanny-valley weirdness where the animators are trying very hard to make them look like real people and spending way too much time on the wrong shit (having insane hair physics meanwhile the skin looks plastic as fuck), it's clipping genitals through one another and hoping they don't accidentally pop out of the stomach, or titty physics that look like they were simulated in NASA's zero G research facility.

I wonder how many Lindens or Vbucks or whatever he's going to charge his fans for letting him rail his avatar. I also wonder how long before Kabs is going to start tracing over direct screenshots of his avatar for "reference material".

They buy the same stock models with interchangeable hair and sliders. A lot of indie visual novels gain traction on unique artstyle, yet it's kind of difficult to impose this in a 3D game. 'Yiff Engine' or whatever, did a decent job at making play-pretend furry characters to bone with, but again, they're animals. Thick lines and cartoony are baseline. If you do that with humans, you end up with anime.

Rapelay is honestly one of the better looking sex games all things considered. I get a ton of notifications on my Steam 'community' page about some game called Breeders of Nephalym or something, and it's donut steel OC hell also. I think in general people just don't care to that extend in sex games, and by having better models than gameplay you probably don't gain a lot of positive feedback. "Why no anal? Why no black self-insert? Why no BDSM?" matter more than whether her eyes move or not.

I don't even think it makes sense in Jason's mind, nor Kate's. If it does, they're huffing way more than weed and their antidepressant prescriptions and I wanna know what they make out the meaning of life to be.

It's clearly not selling either, as shown by the steady fall in Kate's Patreon donators.
