Tumblr was never filled with minors like people claim. Probably in recent years, but most definitely not during it's heyday. It was more popular with college aged people between the ages of 18-24. Tumblr was a haven for sex positivity and nude sharing since it wasn't in the spotlight as much as Twitter or Facebook. Also never forget that Heidi herself encouraged him to get nudes from there as well as help manage the blog (she also fucked other people before he did).

The Final Fantasy V vid was good, but I'm also glad that D&December is returning. I hope he focuses more on retro D&D content (especially shit from the TSR era) instead of 5e shit. Partly because I like TSR-era D&D but also partly because WotC has aggresively stripped all of the soul out of D&D since 2016.

The thumbnail looks fine to me, his skin doesn't look as smooth, but I think that's just because the lighting's less flat than the old thumbnail pic. I do agree he has clearly aged in his recent videos, but the thumbnail's a bad example.

Dude has never been attractive, the new pic looks better though. The old one looked like it had a snap chat filter over it to make him look better. This new one appears a little more honest...which might be the only time I ever say he’s being honest

He's the embodiment of American men. Horrible, simplistic fashion sense, enormous face, short brown hair but at least has the decency to style it.
He did very well with what he was given. Even becoming an object of sexual attraction to likely hundreds of (fat tumblr blobs who want to blackmail him). I never liked him or his videos, especially once he got tangled up with the Nintendo xenophobes, but hey. He did well considering the tragedy.
Meanwhile, in "Girls of Game Grumps" with Holly and Co; they can fuck off, and apparently already have been forced to do so. D&D went from a surprising reemergence to laughing stock once more in what, a year? I guess the time it took for the pro-PC tumblr crowd to get ahold of it. I mean, you get to force other people to listen to your shitty character's every move, and hey, why not embrace that in your household, for some reason?

If anything this shows 3 things:
1) unless some authorities are involved online drama can't really hurt you
2) people just want drama so they hop on anything that's an acceptable and easy target
3) most people who were cheering on the drama doesn't even care about this guy anymore, let alone the corrections
It sucks but that is how the current environment is. You may do something legal (muh laws), but somebody can put it into a bad context in bad faith and whoops the whole Twitter army is after you. Who (unless you done political bad) can't really hurt you, just feed the youtuber machine who pumps out attack videos about you until the drama lasts and it's profitable. After that, you can return to normal.

To be honest, DCA was never going to go anywhere. There's too many D&D 'actual play' shows out there for anyone to care about it. The fact that Hasbro took control of the characters made for the show though (including the one Jared has been using since the 1990s) is pretty fucked up, and it just reinforces my conviction that Hasbro is going to run this game into the ground way worse than Lorraine Williams ever did.

it never really faltered, the main stream was just briefly interested in it because of Stranger Things giving everyone an inauthentic 80’s fetish, but D&D takes too much work for the average person to want to play, and people who watch Stranger Things tend to lack the imagination required to make a campaign fun.
It was that “we should totally be like those kids and play one night!” Thing. Only for them to realize “oh shit, we gotta like, read and spend hours prepping this... fuck it, let’s just get high and play Cards Against Humanity again”
