Boogie's logic is fat and I would not believe it. What he said is literally gibberish. What he literally did was fail to stop. Obviously if you fucking crash into something you failed to stop. It says nothing about why he failed, other than that the cop found it wasn't a legitimate reason, but one that violated traffic laws. Had he lived up to his legal obligation to stop, or if the cop thought there was an excuse for it, he wouldn't have been ticketed.

He's literally just lying, though. I'm increasingly sure he really was fucking around on his phone, either at that exact moment or earlier. We already know he was on his phone just a couple minutes previous.

Hang on, I'm confused. If a driver in front of you gets a stroke and causes a pile up, why do you get a ticket for due care? Did he forget that he said that about the stroke? Are we talking about different accidents?

If we are talking about the same accident (and I think we do), how fucking rеtarded do you need to be to put such contradictory statements on tweeter? Apparently his brain turned to fat issue.

The thing that Boogie fails to realise is that his version of events is decently plausible (as in, he messed up and hit the car in front of him but not due to his phone), but the fact that he's been open about being on his phone nonstop in the car before, and that he's a known liar in like 100+ different situations makes everyone think it's something fishy. Even if he's being completely truthful this time, the point is that he can't even understand why people would doubt him. He can't see that he's the reason why.

Also I've seen it around a few places alleging the blister on his hand from the airbag indicates he was not holding the wheel on impact, but I don't know anything about that. Any Kiwis with knowledge on that please let us know.

Picked up on some very telling behavior on the third tweet. He hitches his bullshit onto the state trooper that ticketed him, leeching off her reputation and credibility because he knows his word is worthless. This is something that frequent liars do often to shore up credibility, and to deflect pressure away from themselves. It's a clear red flag of a pathological liar.

It's very common for those kinds of people to do this, he probably doesn't even realize he's doing it.

It’s entirely possible that the accident people saw online was not the one Boogie was in.

There may have been no guy with a stroke, or any pile-up. The cop said traffic slowed and Boogie didn’t. Probably because he was on his phone. It may have been just the two vehicles, and Boogie lying as usual.

It’s also possible that he saw there was a pileup nearby and he inserted his story into that one. He had enough time to to see that story before he said anything.

The point is, Boogie is such a liar that we will never know what’s true.

Our guesses are closer to what he says though. Past history predicts future behavior. Booger plays on his phone in the car. He lies. He’s passive aggressive and has to be in a hero role. And he wants a new car, so his axel is broken. (Or is it?)

I’m still catching up on the ticket but since June or July Tennessee passed a law making it illegal to use a handheld device while driving. Handsfree is ok but if he was holding it or otherwise using it, boogie broke the law on that.

Edit: reading up on it, the due care law actually seems to be more severe violation than the cell phone distracted driving law and actually covers being on your phone too. He’d be better off he had just got a ticket for being on his phone rather than getting a ticket for causing an accident by being careless.

They're both pretty bad. The due care violation sounds like a direct accusation of having caused the accident, though.

He can see that he's the reason why. He remembers that he used his phone in the car and that everybody was talking about it . He has enough brain cells to know why people doubt him. He's just being weird and mentally ill about it. It's probably a manipulation technique.
