Interesting that "personal stuff" in his life is still games and streaming. "Sharing more" is telling a story about his wife not noticing a DLC code in her game box. Good lord this dude has nothing going on in his life. Ask anyone else to open up about some shit in their life and they have actual interesting things to talk about. And he wonders why his viewers ignore him and talk amongst themselves. Everything is off limits to this dude and asking a fairly reasonable question is ban material.

He says there's a difference between saying he's completely broke and actually being completely broke.

When you ask the general public to fund your life don't be surprised when they want to know where the money is going or how you are buying unnecessary things with the money you get. Phil is the "homeless" guy who picks up his cardboard sign and hops in his Mercedes at night.

Since it's the same company, you can type what is essentially a form letter stating X because Y over Z. Copy and paste, click click click, done.

Is it annoying, yes, is this company pulling a shit move, yes; but this is also the cost of "doing business" on YouTube. Cry more Phil, cry because you lack the backbone to do shit about it.

Or you can take your laptop, go down stairs into the kitchen with it, and file disputes while you stir your sauce and microwave your turkey burgers.

So, dragonquestfan_ recently got permanently banned for asking how Khet bought Hitman Collection if Phil is always hurting for money.

The way Phil addressed the situation made me promptly close-off MrHuth Stuf's video while I was brushing my teeth this morning as I really wanted to beat the shit out of Phil for being such a fucking disgusting asshole. The way he addresses any questions that would dare disrupt his conniving narrative about "help me I'm poor" really, really, really fucking irks me.

I really hate this guy. To the point that I sometimes wish something terrible would happen to someone I've never met or talked to in real life. He's such a condescending fucking prick. What dragonquestfan_ asked was a completely legitimate question: Phil is always harping about how little money he has and how carefully he controls his spending whenever he begs for money to cover unforeseen expenses. How he never spends outside of his means when he and his prized equine animal go out on shopping sprees. Then someone asks him about why he would buy an extra game when he's mentioned he never has the money to do so, the person asking such a question immediately becomes persona non-grata and is deemed an "asshole" and is promptly banned, to never be welcomed back.

Then, DSP has the gall, the fucking audacity to claim that this guy needs to email him and apologize in order to be let back in the streams? Fuck this guy. Seriously, fuck DSP.

I know we're all waiting for his inevitable downfall and the way he has insulated himself from any semblance of a normal life due to his paranoia towards the trolls is making it incredibly slow, but sometimes I wish some external factor would accelerate this downfall and see this trainwreck finally come crashing down at full speed instead of in slow motion.

The reason Phil won't answer the question is because the answer is he's a cuck.

Those three games are older than dirt. I didn't know that Phil played ANY of those games. That Alan Wake playthru is 9 years old, it's from his couch camera era. Bioshock infinite is 6 years old. Crysis 2 is 8 years old. I don't think anyone is going, "Man, you remember that Alan Wake playthrough? I might just have to rewatch that."

WHAAAT?! Alan Wake 2 has the same recurring characters from Alan Wake 1, including Alan Wake. That's pretty cool. It also uses flashlight mechanics which is a throwback to the classic Alan series of Wake games.

I don't think most do. One of the reasons I never tried to be a YouTube millionaire is because I recognized that even if you establish yourself as a brand or business or whatever; you're living on borrowed real estate. Everything is up to the provider that's hosting your videos; and since they're fronting the cost of everything, you live in their house, by their rules, and there are not landlord/tenant protections. It's nice to see that not everyone went the way of Phil, but everytime YouTube does YouTube fuckery and everyone spergs about it, fucking branch out. People who've been doing this shit for years know should know that they're existing on someone else's dime by now; but no, whether it's MCNs going down, the two different adpocalypses, and now this COPPA drama, figure it the fuck out. Use some of those internet sheckles and invest, or learn, or swap, or something. If anything, if it really is taking money away; take everything you've done on your channel and use it a a fucking portfolio to get a gig elsewhere. And I don't think they think of that; that if you've done reliable work, you have a work ethic, if you've learned and have been successful behind a mic, editing software, a mixing board, etc, that's legitimate work experience; even if you were just doing it from an extra room in your house. If they haven't done dumb shit like Phil; they can show expertise/achievement in video editing, video broadcasting, or a couple of other fields that have real life equivalents.

But they want the freedom the internet offers. Well okay, but that freedom comes with broken glass you have to crawl through every once in a while.

You can't make videos on YouTube with a goal of making any money at all - that's the trick to it. I watch a lot of channels on YouTube, and they all went from nobodies with shaky cams to 800,000+ subs and a better cam. But they're the same damn person. The ones I like to watch talk to the camera like its a person, and they're doing something interesting in their shop. One of my favorite ones is a guy named Mustie1 - he's a mechanic in his 50s and I can't tell you how much I learned about small engines and all things mechanical just by having him on in the background. He's making enough from YT that he actually rents a big ass garage. He didn't say it's from YouTube money, but it is. He has no Patreon, no donation links, nothing - solely through views. But YT is secondary - he's a mechanic after all and makes decent money doing it. So if YT fucked off it would suck but he'd be fine.

I still can’t get over how venomously dark hates wings based off nothing but what someone in chat told him. I’ve never listened to that podcast wings sometimes goes on, but I’ve also never seen him say a single bad thing about dark other than “I could take him, I’m a big guy” he actually goes out of his way to defend dark and all his antics and mods people directly insulting him

One night Phil explained why he doesn't like Wings. It was partially what you said. Phil was supposed to go on the podcast, but according to Wings, Phil cancelled last minute claiming to be to sick to talk. The very same day Phil was streaming to his own channel. They kind of made fun of Phil for being too sick to come on the podcast but not too sick to stream.

A year or so later, Wings wanted to do a collaboration with Phil. Phil said on stream he would do it if Wings emailed him. Wings said okay I sent the details. Phil said he never got an email. Ok, Wings sent it again. Phil didn't get that one either, it probably went in the spam folder if he even sent it at all.

All this boiled down to Phil's excuse. Wings makes up lies about Phil saying he didn't want to come on the podcast or answer emails. It's Wings fault. Wings is the coward. Phil does everything correct and Wings does everything wrong. Wings slandered Phil by talking about the podcast because Phil now has never even heard about the podcast or emails despite evidence of Phil talking about it on stream.

What's funny is Wings already cleared this up almost a year ago, but Phil's trolls don't spam his chat with it so Phil doesn't know. He never sent Phil the e-mail. He was afraid the co-op stream would cause an increase in trolling for both of them so he tried to play it off as a miscommunication to not hurt Phil's feelings, instead Phil's response was 'HE LIED ABOUT ME FOR DRAMA AND VIEWS BECAUSE HE'S A PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT WHO TRIED TO HURT MY BUSINESS!!!!'
