I like how none of this is his fault. His legacy of more uploads than anyone else (I wonder how true this is) has nothing to do with all these videos getting claimed. It's not like if he had edited these videos down that it would be one or two claims to dispute, nope, he did nothing wrong, great job youtube.

The crazy part is that he's actually right that this MCN fucked up, as they're claiming visual stuff. But he still manages to be such a whiny fucking baby about his supposed "archive" that he allegedly doesn't even care about anymore that he still comes off as a raging douche.

Well, sounds like there's an expediant answer from those TwoStar guys. They emailed the company and got them released; meanwhile Phil is bitching about 70 videos (at that time) and how it'd be hours of work.

"Hey Phil, here's the problem, here's what we sought out as a solution, and they rectified it quickly."

"I CAN'T DO THAT! THAT'S HOURS OF WORK DUDE! NOTHING I CAN DO!"

Then fucking die like the pig you are.

The thing that gets me is he knows it is going to get fixed. Something like this happens 2-3 times a year and it's always reversed. The only reason such a large number were claimed was Phil gaming the system chopping playthroughs into 10 minute chunks. He isn't losing a cent from this but he sure as hell will grift a few by bitching about it.

Call the cops, then. Of course he won't, because this activity isn't illegal and more importantly that would require effort beyond tagging people who couldn't care less in a tweet. C'mon, Phil, even Becky Gerber puts more effort into a grift than that.

Also, someone please correct my boomer ass but there is a distinction between claiming revenue on a video and a copyright strike, yes? When I was last paying attention, three copyright strikes in such close succession meant your ass was grass in YouTube's eyes. I'd imagine five hundred of them in a twenty-four hour period would land you in some kind of Internet Hell for all time.

Correct. It's a Content ID claim and doesn't count as a strike against you. The original owners of the content can choose to block it or to allow it to remain live with revenue going to the claimant rather than the uploader. I have many of them.

Considering he shouldn’t be getting any ad revenue on his YouTube since his original Adsense account was banned and he is using an ill gotten second (which isn’t allowed under Adsense ToS) , he really is pushing his luck complaining over 5-8 year old videos no one watches.

Why does that matter? Is he missing all the Black Friday/Cyber Monday/general Christmas deal alerts for more bullshit he doesn't need? It's not like he uses it to communicate with anyone.

I also love the "been staring at for an hour" remark. I'm sure it's hyperbole but I enjoy the notion of him going all deer-in-the-headlights over such a budget technocrat problem.

Isn't he married? Doesn't Kat have an interest in keeping the archive as monetized as possible? Can't she spend some time disputing 250 or so of these leaving only 250 more for DSP to take care of? Well, get working as a family unit team already since Jasper isn't going to be able to help or hire an office drone to help you keep your ad revenue from dying again this month and stfu about it.

Phil debunks this every other month on average on stream so to be fair to him, I'm going to cut to the chase and give you his explanation of this complaint; he appealed his adsense ban years later after it was suspended and they reinstated it so it's not a ban evasion account, it's a previously suspended account reinstated, distinct difference. Is that the true and honest situation on adsense? I don't know or really care, just putting it out that this is what DSP would say to answer your complaint cheer/sub/tip message about using multiple accounts against the adsense terms of service.

Also, damn nice of DSP to dole out the lulz even on his off day, he's is in a generous giving mood this holiday season, at least from this point of view!
