I agree that all lies unravel eventually. The thing is though, in 'current year' society, truth doesn't matter to the general public. All that matters is that their personal beliefs have enough people in lockstep to justify their position on social media.
The snowflakes have so devolved societal norms that even the normies are increasingly unconcerned with things like 'the truth' of a situation until it's their personal ass in the frying pan. They either don't want the fight that comes with a given belief or are in fear of the blowback for standing for something.
Like it or not, until you warehouse the nutcases, they will continue devolving civil society and the rules governing it.

My question/observation is what ELSE do they have besides social media, where you can be anyone of any species with any income and have to prove none of it?
