$83.35 / 3.25 hours = $25.64 per hour, or $59K a year (applying his usual 8 hours a day, 6 days a week streaming schedule)

Slowly but surely he's getting addicted to people throwing heaps of money at him, and every time there are signs of it not being a stream where he hits the jackpot, alarm bells go off.

Money has become his heroin.


Yes, he does, but it usually requires $100+ per stream, a big gifted sub bomb and/or massive amounts of bits. And yes, it definitely is a way to get people to feel bad for him and empty their wallets, but goddamn, you can't be doing that while getting $25+ per hour for streaming video games and refusing to get a regular job, man. That's just plain wrong and being entitled as fuck.

Eh this isnt a bad idea on the part of the Dark and its actually pretty nice of him to give everyone his own genuine authentic Italian tardcum for the price of literally free. Because we all know he's definitely going to sperg when using characters he doesnt know how to play in like Third Strike or Alpha.

To piggyback (SNORT) on Comma's post, a stream is "slow" whenever tips are low, where low = $70 or less (roughly). This can be offset, however, if someone cheered a lot or a bunch of subs were gifted.

So I just want to get people thinking here. Penne points still end up getting him money in the long term because it increases engagement. There is a reason Twitch put in this free point system and it wasn't out of the goodness of their hearts.

Still, lets see how this event goes. My theory is more trolls will have and use points than Dave's speds.

I think it's him testing the waters. After Pokemon and Minecraft buy-ins, plus his already directly stated upcoming begathon for taxes, I bet he's using penne points either in an attempt to soften up his wheelchairs for when he switches it to real money, to see just how far he can push this whole thot-like "Pay me for X" or both.

Man, expect Gundam to be soon making tri-weekly hour+ long videos about ThotDave where he shows us how he cleverly notices Dave is ripping people off and we just nod and pat him on the head.

tried it with WWE characters, wage quit the game, will hype up the return at xmas though

pokemon names have been a joke, noone is "fighting" to name anything

I know right? Yet for some reason he considers playing with his fans the sign of a loser. And I have no idea where it came from. I think it might be because he's so fucking neurotic that people are out to get him IRL, that we all live so deeply in this guys head, that he thinks everything outside of his control is a possible gay op.

When he learned Wings was playing with fans to get around the lobby issue in modern shooter man CURRENT YEAR he just talked so much shit about it.


I have those clips all staged in a video just waiting for a year or 2 from now when he announces a bidding war to play with the clown live.

Phil's metaphorically masturbatory SF stream is exactly what you would expect. He's playing the same randos that are clearly not great at any of the games, mostly beating them easily, and bitching to high heaven on the rare occasion he's beaten. But his ego is getting vigorously stroked, so I guess that's all that matters to him.

My only way to explain it is what I dub the 'High School Cafeteria' theory. People will self segregate based on race. Then, within that, they will segregate on popularity. Dave is the King of the reetards. So, the lower, weaker reetards support and prop him up because "he fights back/doesn't take shit" from the other groups.

It's why the low based reetards hate the "trolls" so much. Even when they are in their 20s-40s, and donate obscene amounts of money; they're still fighting that high school popularity fight (ie: planetjeff, makes +$150K a year, would still talk about trolls). Donating to Dave is their way of "fighting back" against all the times they were made fun of--completely oblivious everyone is made fun of.
