That skunk needs his nails clipped. I guarantee you the vet clipped them anyway that day she claims they scammed her because they knew she would not. I’m sure he doesn’t just sit happily for his manicure but that is part of owning a pet. And you either find much patience and work with the animal. ( I’m sure the skunk could be bribed. Hell, someone could cut them right during this video while he’s enjoying his stolen pizza) or pay someone else to do it if you can’t/won’t.

I don't know what you feed a skunk, but if he wont eat the appropriate commercial food, then look up what he needs nutritionally and make him some food yourself. I am sure there are skunk forums that have info!
And, since money question is important for Amy, it’s possible to make food for animals and it won’t be pricey. If you know places where you can buy meat, suitable for animal, for a cheap price. You can even ask local butcher to leave you some leftovers, since meat that won’t be eaten by humans(For example, some types of meat are very hard to chew) is perfect for carnivores. Offals are good too. Veggies shouldn’t be a problem if she buys some for usual cooking (
). All she needs is to add some good vitamins to skunks food to make sure it gets all nutrition. Vitamins can cost a lot tho.
