Honestly it doesn't matter how many views he gets. he's practically done, his main source of income (Patreon) is gone ( Greg really put his eggs in one basket lollll) he owes the government tax money, and has to spend on his wetlands too, if Taylor divorces him (which I have a feeling is going to happen sooner or later) he's gonna have to deal with that too plus legal fees for an upcoming civil and criminal trial ( USA vs Avaroe-Jackson.... ugh I can't wait). this is true, but even if he doesn’t make money off the views, he still probably gets his rocks off to seeing his viewcount skyrocket the way it has. thats why hes making so many spastic meltdown videos: it’s what’s getting him the most attention, and he doesn’t care if it’s negative attention.

Probably gonna sound autistic, but he's really trying hard to establish an insanity plea with these videos if he's ever taken to court. I do realize that it's onion, but besides just attention seeking, there's no other reason to do this than to try his best to not get sent to prison if he's ever taken to a criminal trial.

That argument would never stand in court for more than 2 seconds because there’s evidence everywhere that he’s not insane (at least not criminally).

He’s tweeted out multiple times about how the freak outs are explicitly fake so there’s no room for an insanity defense there.

I can't see Greg really using these videos as a precursor towards an insanity plea. The courts don't say "aww shucks he can't be guilty because crazy". You are locked up in a psych ward and given meds until you are deemed fit to stand trial. If you never become balanced enough to stand trial they give you a guilty by reason of mental impairment and back to the psych ward you go til time served or retrial. Greg, our resident waterhead can google this. I can be wrong, but I think the videos are simply him trying to "prove to the haters" that he isn't bothered by the accusations enough to make light of them. (Spoiler alert: he's so triggered I predict a future Karen haircut.)

I've been speculating for a while YT have been waiting until the new TOS to offload Gurg, along with a bunch of other channels that cause them grief. Their new terms about dropping you if your channel is 'no longer economically viable' for them is so vaguely worded it pretty much means they can drop you for any reason if they think you're a liability. And if he's dropped with a bunch of other channels, the clown can't claim his free speech is impeded or he's been singled out.
If he's STILL there after the TOS change, all I can think is 1)Anti-O vids make them a shit ton of money & they want to keep that little cottage industry of hate going for as long as possible )they don't want Gurg to turn into another Nazim Aghdam & kill someone at Youtube or his own family. There's a substantial no. of peeps who think Gurg is capable of this.

It weirdly interesting to see how Greg's ego spreads to everything he's ever created. Including his 'music', all his songs as well all have instances of him including his personal life, like just like his book. I think this is mostly because he can't really see things through the eyes of others like most narcissists and can only write about his own world view. Last year a twitter account claiming to know the inner workings of yt said there was a meeting between Youtubers and staff and where they wanted to see the site go in the future. Keemstar and commentary channels were the primary focus of the Youtubers. I wouldn't be surprised if people like onion was yt itself focus.
