I hate to admit it because I normally have a strong composure for the bizarre, but he's too gross and his videos make me seriously uncomfortable. He's perhaps one of the most repulsive humans I'm aware of right now. I'd rather have dinner with Robert Pickton than JY if I were forced to choose between the two; and Pickton is apparently a disgusting eater according to people who know him.

You could submit a FIPPA request, but you'll have to do so using the Public Interest Override, and justify it (predator gaining access to underage children will be hard to push without a conviction, but the abuse of procs cited by the BCHRT might be useful). I legally changed my last name decades ago and the name change had to be made publicly available at the time (I didn't change my gender, but it did list that information). There's no record online that I can find these days, but there was a time many years ago when a google search would bring up a provincial gov't page with all the name changes during specific dates. People tend to take their privacy more seriously these days so I'm not surprised that it was scrapped, but I also wouldn't think it would become practically impossible for the public to see the records.

Actually the post he's retweeting is pretty cringe in and of itself. "Christmas Cards for the Ho Ho Homeless"? What genius came up with that? And what is a Christmas card going to do for a homeless person? Where's he going to display it, his cardboard box?

Canadian law respects self-ID for troons, meaning that Yaniv is likely going to go to a women's facility. It's going to cause so many problems for the women there. It's a perfect environment for him to victimize even more people, and it's a population that's been disproportionately impacted by violence and sexual abuse already. It's also not like these women can choose to ignore him or leave. They're trapped in a building 24/7 with this sex pest. Can you imagine having to share a room with him? There's story after story after story of some troon rapist getting into a women's DV shelter, homeless shelter, or prison and assaulting the other residents. Women in prison aren't delicate flowers, but they're also not all lesbian bears who are capable of curbstomping a grown man who weighs 100lbs more than them.

Women that he antagonizes or directly assaults are going to be blamed for starting fights. They'll be labeled as transphobes, humiliated, and punished for standing up for themselves. It's already happened in other places when women didn't want to share cells with troons or room with a man in a dress after fleeing rape from a relative at home.

For as much as I want Yaniv to go to jail, what I want more is that he won't have easy physical access to women he can harass (or worse). I would be very supportive of him being hauled off to a facility if it was for men only or he was housed in the male wing. It seems like the police, the HRT, medical services, and everyone else who isn't at the rainbow gender party recognizes that Yaniv is play-acting to get what he wants. His own mother doesn't use the right pronouns. None of that matters to the law, and his legal gender determines what type of facility he's sent to. Any judge that tries to determine otherwise will be lynched. Canada drank the Kool-Aid on this one.

I don't necessarily disagree with you. There will be women in there capable of turning him into mincemeat on day one, especially if he starts fucking with their prison girlfriend. That said, troons victimizing female inmates in jail is documented. The most infamous one is probably Karen White out of the UK, a known rapist that further assaulted two more women after a conveniently-timed transition that got him transferred to a women's prison. I personally don't feel like it's worth the risk of more people being hurt just to have Yaniv get beat up by a dyke. He doesn't need to go to prison to have that happen.

I don't think he'd have an easy a time in prison as some may think. Snitches get stitches...snitches aren't tolerated, it's not like Twitter where he can sit safely reporting and/or threatening people, having the police on speed dial will be gone. Cons have their own rules. He's proved he's a wimp, to me he's only brave assaulting others when his mother or others are around to protect him so I can't honestly see him facing up to any hardened criminal of either sex.

This means Yaniv would either be pretty much in solitary or he'll be put in there with the kind of women he could harass instead of the kind who would kick his ass.

If you think he would be sent to a womans range in jail you're dumb. You get strip searched every time you enter and leave a Canadian jail and if you have a penis you go in with the men. He would get pc but that means nothing. In fact it can be more violent. He would get seg for a little bit of he came to jail suicidal but even then they can only legally keep him in seg for so long for human rights reasons so he would get a max of 2 weeks more likely 3 days alone before he's in a regular pop.

Then again Johnny isnt going to jail based on his charges. He will get a suspended sentence if he's lucky and that's only if he pleads out. Otherwise if he gets a lawyer he will waste money and also be stuck with a summary conviction. Either way itll be 1-2 years of probation and a weapons ban and itll be basically an agreement to "keep the peace" as it's called. If he messes up again he will be thrown in jail immediately during that time. That also applys now since he is out on a promise to appear. There is no chance of jail time unless he does worse let's be clear.

Also he's in the middle of reapplying for legal aid for which he will be denied again since he is not in custody so the next court date will be another adjournment for him to defer to duty council or find a real lawyer he pays for himself so anyone expecting anything to happen in January doesnt know what they're talking about. He hasn't even gotten to pretrial yet so he hasn't even been told what the crown is seeking although it's obvious based on previous case study. He wont know that until he's picked representation.

Here's hoping he pays for his own lawyer and gets fucked twice as hard because he didnt take the plea deal but even then, no jail time.

I agree that he's not getting jail time (for these offenses at least), but I do think Canada would put him in a female prison. How could they not? He is legally a female in Canada. I don't know how they could justify putting a legally female person in a men's prison. I think that's all kinds of fucked up, but that's the ideology they've backed no matter how crazy the implementation seems.
