Even if these shitposts don't make it in, others will, and it won't necessarily be in history textbooks, either. The Deplorables meme has already become immortalized in at least one book, for instance.

People still sing Greensleeves 400 years later, and yell Deus Vult 900 years later. The Republicans revived "a chicken in every pot" 300 years after it was first said; 100 years later we still use it sometimes. And Lady Liberty has been a chick in a robe and cap for 2000 years.
