Its a weapon made to cut unarmored or lightly armored people in the corridors of a space ship. a sword is not good in a place like that.

If thats the criteria, I'd think it would be even worse. It's heavy, thus making it harder to react when you have limited choices for manuvering or egress. I'd think the good old Klingon dagger or two would be the better choice in a corridor fight.

Its just a little bit heavyer than a sword, but its shorter and has alot more edges to cut and surfices to parry. you dont need much force to cut bone.

I want to accuse him of perjury now just to get one of these supposed letters. Isn't the whole point of the defense put forward by the people he is defending that "this is free speech"? (that's the TCPA validation for dismissing the case, he can say their words were not slander/libel, but that's something to prove in a court of law, not something you dismiss without a any sort of consideration for merit)

Also, the bat'leth is a terrible weapon no matter what. Ignoring the whole point that melee weapons are both obsolete and moronic in a world with laser guns (or even just "normal" guns, how many of our current soldiers bother with a sword?), if you're going to put that forward as good in a narrow hallway, ANY "stabbing" weapon (rapier or especially a spear) would be many times better. The stabbing points on the bat'leth have range on par with a knife (as others have said) and longer stabbing weapons would be more effective than any slash attacks. In fact, I would argue that the Bat'leth is actually WORST in a narrow hallway, because the main strength of slash attacks is that they can come from various angles, and confined areas nullify that aspect, making it basically have the same range as.... a knife.

Let's not forget that Emmett Eggplant and his wife were also stupid enough to post their address. Eggplant seems to have much in common with Chair Abuser in that they both chimp out and sort of groomed their wives at a particular age, have some sort of hostility about how tough they are on social media, from debating Nick to wanting to debate Hero Hei, and chimping out over it.

Hero should have considered taking Plantain's offer for a debate. Outside of arguing legalities there isn't much of a conversation to be had. They started this fight in the public sphere's POV so might as well keep it that way.

The overall atmosphere of a court room and arguing about the law is disingenuous. Rape and murder is wrong but we have lawyers defending these assailant's too.

Ahahaha I just discovered something crazy, something I didn't think actually happened with anime DVDs. Remember in Monica's deposition where she complained her name didn't get on the box-cover of an anime like Vic's did? Even though typically anime don't list their dub voice-actors' names on the cover, they were instead listed mainly at the end of the credits?

Look-it what Central Park Media did with Ping Pong Club, actually naming the voice-actors on--well, inside the DVD cover (shitty quality, but still):

Suck it, Monica. You wanted your name on a DVD cover? Take that up with Funimation for not giving enough of a shit to do something like this with you people.

EDIT: Yes, just want to point out they're aliases and not the actual voice-actors' names, but at least you know who's who should you watch the series (recommend it btw). I just have never seen dub voice-actors listed on a DVD cover and I have to laugh myself into a coma over it.
