Lowtax removed the faggot ads because he didn't wanna risk some dangerhair twitter crusade calling SA an alt-right nazi site, because he knows exactly how quickly that happens. Lowtax is clever enough to know that's his customer base and that he can't risk a mass exodus over some triggering. He left the Kiwi ad up in hopes people get triggered just enough to buy the no ad update or make passive-agressive ad buying a thing because at the end of the day, getting money is all he cares about.
If somebody was to upload illegal content to the website in the form of ads, I think he can't be held accountable for hosting it? Else it'd be trivial to take down all kinds of websites that way. I'm also pretty sure that's how a site like Kiwiframs is even possible without being a legal minefield for null.
