if I understand correctly, is she not also admitting she was sitting on info that could have helped her haydur buddies? At the very least eased their shock when one of their videos got terminated - already knowing advertisers wouldn't touch that content? I mean I don't know how recently they reached out to her but it does seem like (if it's true) she kept that bullet in her belt on the off chance Chantal got smug.......??? Because she only waited until Chantal said something and not when MBP's video got deleted. You can't really say you didn't think this new policy would touch your content if you have advertisers outright saying "yeah we can't touch that because it would get terminated"

I don't believe her anyway, there's no reason to believe youtube would be demonetizing or prohibiting mukbangs. They make a lot of money and while plenty of people find them gross, few care enough to reeeee at advertisers about how pRoBleMaTic they are. I would be very surprised if mukbangs get "cancelled" and there's no way in hell youtube is going to discriminate against only fatfucks doing mukbangs.

the thing is that things like racism, homophobia, transphobia, harassment, etc etc etc can and do happen on every platform. Literally all of them. There's nothing here that you couldn't find on tumblr in it's heyday, or in certain corners of twitter. But there are two distinctions

1. those platforms offer the illusion of safety; there's some kind of report/block system. Of course the trade off for that illusion is being product of information capitalism - there's no free real estate of personal data here. If you get offended or attacked here, nobody cares and there's not a lot you can do about it.

You can report any post here too, lower left corner under the post is the button. You can also ignore (block) any user here, go to their profile page, next to the follow button. This will mask any posts by the user under a warning that 'this content may grind your gears' before you choose to view it at any point going forward from there. Other than that, good points.
