TGWTG Allison Pregler / Obscurus Lupa / Movie Nights - The vindictive leader of #ChangeTheChannel, GOTIS personified, vendetta against The Cinema Snob

I don’t think her bitterness towards Channel Awesome has anything to do with them holding her back (apart from the complaints from numerous contributors that Doug was promoted over their own work), but that what success she has is intrinsically tied to Channel Awesome, a company with which she had a miserable experience. I know this is hysterical in retrospect since she won’t shut the fuck up about Channel Awesome, but before ChangetheChannel, she was getting weary of her fans innocently asking her about her Channel Awesome days.
Alison was one of the reviewers who got treated best at Channel Awesome, as far as exposure. Her and Marzgurl. Neither of them were anywhere close to as popular as heavy hitters like Spoony, Linkara, Lindsay or Doug himself, but they got lots of prominent crossovers and were heavily featured in the anniversary specials. Because Doug and co wanted female characters for their autistic skits and shit, and options were limited, presumably.

That's another thing that bugs me about CTC. All this whining about the anniversary specials, but aside from a few of the biggest names, these people owe most of whatever audience they have to the exposure they got from those specials. They damn well knew it too. That's why they kept coming back. They knew they weren't getting paid, they knew Doug's management was less than competent. They went along with it anyway.

You know, given how the Internet was back at CA’s peak, I really doubt Mike and Rob really we’re powerful enough to destroy careers of producers a la Harvey Weinstein.

That's the thing that completely invalidates #CTC. If it was just so horrible like they allege, why keep coming back year after year?
I'm willing to bet they still got some spike in traffic. One of the complaints was that the first time you were in a special, you got a boost in views, but when you came back for a second that didn't happen. But they must have gotten something.

Why else would they constantly go back year after year?

They knew what it was and they knew what they could get from it, so they put up with idiocy to get it.

But as Obi-Wan once said, who is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?

As I said before, I doubt Mike and/or Rob were some Harvey Weinstein type that could play God and determine their future on the Internet with a snap of their fingers.

I've been watching some Cinema Snob latel, new and old episodes, and I've noticed that both of Brad's wives have big ol' titties. I wonder if that's fed some of Allison's insecurites.
I think it's more the fact that they actually look their age rather than twenty years older, though the tits could also be a sore point.

Still blows my mind that Jillian actually got them out for the movie.

Indeed.

I wonder when she fucks Phelan she makes him wear a paper bag over his head and places a photo of Brad's face on top?

I'm sorry, I hate to derail the thread, but Brad got his now ex-wife to go topless in a movie?

So without even seeing the full film, that automatically makes The Cinema Snob movie the best movie based on an online personality, right?

It's at least better than Lord of the Rings.

I haven't even seen the full movie yet lol, but yup, Jillian's titties makes it better than all the other ones.
