You're correct. Usually when someone has a normal job the works they make are often more inspired and better made because it's a labor of love or is a leisurely activity, but when it becomes a source of income it becomes more of a commodity and is seen as something that needs to be done as opposed to something to do. Luckily Jim has a good enough personality that even with him phoning it in stuff is still entertaining. Not to the same degree as earlier stuff, for sure, but fun nonetheless.
