I looked up the tenets and shit of LaVeyan Satanism and furries break a lot of them, I'm sure the avowed LaVeyans make up some of that number. What's great is how LaVey was inspired by (get this) Nietzche and Ayn Rand. I thought the only furry Randroids were the crazy Ancap fringers.

This been circulating on telegram. Allegedly the #fursuitfriday charity calendar was a scam and all the money was pocketed by the campaign owner instead of going to charity. No surprise because its run by artwork tee.

I agree that it’s very much this, combined with furries innate “let’s squick the normies” attitude. Jokes on them, of course; when was the last time anyone in the mainstream took religion and especially the whole concept of Hell and demons seriously enough to get offended?
Also popular culture conflates Hell being a big bacchanal party scene and demons/fallen angels having been kicked out of Heaven because they wanted to have fun; this of course fits with the overall attitude Furries have to life and adulting.

I think th is just hatred of Christianity and 'homophobia' in general. These decades, the Bible has been called (including) 'superstitious', 'anti-scientific', 'racist', 'sexist', 'fear-mongering', 'homophobic', and 'prudish', while Christians had been given the blame of practically everything from the Salem Witch Trials to the Crusades, from the Westboro Baptist Church to National Socialism and the Catholic child-raping scandals in between. More importantly, people of this and the previous generation has been taught to focus only on the negative of the Bible and Christianity while ignoring the positives: many scientists from Galileo Galilei to Gregor Mendel were actually devout Christians while supporting Christianity. There is also a form of revisionism in this education: people bring up Thomas' Jefferson's separation of Church and State while failing to recognise that he supported the Christianisation of Native Americans. The worst part is that nuance is cast out among these generations: anyone who tries to give a more nuanced view is considered 'siding wi the nemy.'
In light of this, LaVeyan Satanism appeals to this type of people by virtue of 'the nemy of my enemy is my friend'. LaVeyan Satanists do not believe in Christianity, much less Atan. They are actually atheists that purposefully rebel against Christianity; they side with Satan merely symbolically. This type of religion is jus the right fi to day's generations.
(That is not counting Theistic Satanism, but I can see that appealing to these generations, also. From what I have gathered, these generations' impression of the Christian God seems ripped off a Reddit Atheist's interpretation of the Law Route of a Megami Tensei game, with Lucifer/Satan being 'the real good guy' who supports knowledge and free will while having killed and tortured much less than God.
I should also warn you that there is a difference between the original Church of Satan and the politically active Satanic Temple... though, given how this generation likes political activism, I can see why either one gets chosen.)
Taking the above, you can see why a lot of urries wan to be Satanists: Christianity hates even looking at someone lustfully (let alone homosexuality), whereas LaVeyan Satanism embraces indulgence instead.

It frankly shows how little they know about what the Bible says. A lot gets taken out of context especially historical context and these people tend to reee about bigotry when they could be further from the truth.It appears to be. I cant speak for every single Christian that exists but it seems like atheists or theists these days cherry pick what they want to hear from things for their own needs and will point fingers if you dont see their point of view. I find it all very disheartening.

Twitter activists have decided to take their ousters of controversial con staff one step further, and have made a Twitter account dedicated towards ousting con staff.
As you can tell with a lot of political Twitter accounts, their main goal was to go after the Milo Trolling Crew (main thread here). The account lay dormant until it came time to blow the whistle:
The big thing here regarding this drama is that they started getting results. So far at least one staff member has been sacked from cons after chat leaks in which they were supportive of Milo and suggesting tips to get in while banned, alongside forwarding anti-gay community posts from edgy right wing groups.
Since con staff were being vague about who exactly got kicked...the person in question was Grizdog/DrMarionettee/Sisyphus.

He made a public statement about this incident on his wordpress blog, apologizing about this and clarifying his actions. I doubt he will be the last con staff member to get thrown off the board, as more and more furries will inevitably weaponize this tactic.
