Serial killer fangirls

I wonder what these fangirls think of failed shooters, like the Coral Springs guy from back in 2016. He never managed to kill anyone because he got caught, but look at this adorable little manifesto.

A seance could work. Contact him via Ouiija Board for those answers. Thank you, Doctor.

They probably have, with the amount of watered-down occultism on tumblr, I would say it is very likely that ALL of these fangirls have an intimate relationship with their mass killer of choice on the Astral Plane.

20th anniversary of Columbine.
I wonder how they're celebrating.

Edit: A lot of them actually seem pretty sympathetic towards the victims. There are a couple assholes like this though.

Sometimes when I want to make myself disappointed in humanity I go into the "true crime community" tag (Here's a link to the video in the third screenshot for your suffering pleasure). Bonus Dylan Klebold cosplay I can't screenshot without part of it being cropped out.

Also, someone on Tumblr faked being pregnant with Dylann Roof's baby. Unfortunately, I don't have screenshots, but it happened within the past week. I'll try and dig it up if I can.
Sorry for necroing but I can't stop thinking about this. Who would write this unironically?

I wonder if the people who fangirl over Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold ever realised how racist the pair were. I'm not exactly sure how well-known this is, but considering that most of these people congregate on tumblr it's suprising the shooters weren't placed in the same "far-right shooter" category as Breivik or Tarrant ages ago. That said, any fangirl who's deep enough in the whole to be worshipping the columbine shooters are probably detached from reality enough to ignore it. The zero hours documentary is very well known at this point however, so I'm having a hard time beleiving a devoted fan would miss this line:

I beleive that Eric's natural selection shirt also tied into some philosophy of his that included seeing white people as superior, but I can't be 100% on that one.

Similar for Elliot Rodger fangirls (he ranted about how he deserved girls more because he is half-white as opposed to some black guy) and the florida shooter (carved swastikas on his guns)

Do none of them know or are they all just ignoring it?

EDIT: also yes I know I'm necroing

They just don't give a shit. There are people who fawn over Dyann Roof (the guy who shot up a black church) and generally pass over his racism just because they want to bone him.

Ohio woman who wrote to Dylann Roof sentenced to 15 years for terror plot

Nov. 21 (UPI) -- An Ohio woman who wrote letters to convicted killer Dylann Roof received 15 years in prison Thursday for plotting an attack on a downtown Toledo bar, the Justice Department announced.

Elizabeth Lecron, 24, pleaded guilty in April to one count of conspiracy to provide material support or resources to terrorists, and one count of transporting explosives in interstate commerce.

She and co-conspirator Victor Armstrong were arrested in December after delivering 2 pounds of muzzle-loading propellant and 665 screws for a pipe bomb to an undercover law enforcement source.

Armstrong pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to transport or receive an explosive with intent to kill, injure or intimidate any individual and maliciously damage or destroy by fire or explosive. He is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 10.

During her sentencing hearing, Judge James Carr called Lecron "monstrous."

"This defendant was deadly serious about plotting for an attack on Toledo and an interstate pipeline," U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman said. "She stands convicted of a terrorism offense and will spend the next fifteen years in a federal prison. When she is released, she will spend the rest of her life under intense supervision by a federal court. Today's sentence reflects the severity of her conduct and is a recognition of the continued efforts by law enforcement to protect the public from all violent threats."

According to court documents, Lecron conspired with Armstrong from April 2018 to December 2018 to conduct an attack she described in her journal as "D-Day."

"D-Day will be my salvation," she wrote, according to prosecutors.

Shortly after meeting in February 2018, Lecron told Armstrong of her interest in mass murderers and in August of that year, the two flew to Denver to visit sites related to the Columbine High School shooting of 1999, which was committed by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold resulting in 15 people dead, including the shooters. The pair also planned to visit "the church" in Charleston, S.C., meaning the church where Roof killed nine people in 2015.

The pair discussed numerous targets for their attack before deciding on a downtown Toledo bar, and coordinated the outfits they were to wear during their attack to emulate the Columbine shooters, the prosecutors said.

According to the complaint, Lecron also corresponded with Roof in prison. She sent him letters and when he asked her for books on social uprising and Nazism, she complied.

Darryl Coote contributed to this report.

What a surprise, prison mail is monitored. What's the world coming to when you can't quietly plan mass murder with your serial killer penpal without the coppers getting all excited?

Eh, with Eric Harris, it's hard to tell if he was a genuine racist or was just using Nazi imagery to be edgy. He seemed to be a narcissistic misanthrope who thought all humans were inferior, not just non-whites. IIRC, some of his writings also threw shade at white people for being too pampered and suburban. Harris was a total nutcase either way.

Dylan Klebold was part Jewish and wasn't really racist, he was just a suicidal depressive who made friends with the wrong guy and decided since he was going to kill himself anyway, he might as well get his name in the history books while he was at it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Dylan Klebold because he was still a mass murderer in the end, but had he not befriended Eric Harris, he probably would have been content with just offing himself and not taking part in a horrific mass shooting.

If you took the shooting out of the equation, all you'd have is a narcissistic edgelord and a suicidal emo kid.

To be honest, I never understood the fangirl phenomenon with murderers. It's one thing to enjoy reading about the crimes in a historical or academic sense. True crime novels exist for a reason, after all. But there's a difference between enjoying true crime books and openly idolizing and sexualizing serial killers and mass murderers.

This isn't really serial killer fangirls, but fanboys.

There is a whole community of a bunch of dudes that sit around and watch Chicago gang members and keep scores of each sides death like they are watching football. They keep track and note of every arrest.

The gang members go on IG live and argue with each other for their "fans" to watch. The top guy killed the bottom guys son. The guy on top was recently shot and killed.

The majority of these people aren't from Chicago and not in a gang,

A lot of them are actually Europeans that are obsessed with US gang/gun culture.

They make videos on each notable members deep lore

Occasionally they develop self awareness of what it is they are in a fandom of.
