Yeah bud, someone put a decimal point in the wrong spot and DSP ignored the threatening letter and notice he'd been sued for going on three weeks.

Him filing chapter 13 would be an extremely large issue because unless I'm mistaken the resulting hearing would include making public his financial information
Any bankruptcy petition will have that information.

Banks round decimals to 2 points, not 1 or 3. The decimal is correctly placed.

The thing is, if he somehow survives this, then there is nothing that will ever take him down and proves that god abandoned us a long time ago.
He probably will though which is the truth. Those tips for making the monkey dance on Twitch add up, on top of his normal revenue. At most this will cause him to stream more often and be his usual DSP self because he knows they'll chuck some cash his way. Just expect way more whining and complaining then usual since now it's a money issue in front of him.

Like give Phil credit the dude managed to turn the King of Hate into a brand name, and has still managed to be around despite showing himself jacking it on stream. He's like a roach you smack once and think it's dead, but just comes back and runs under your stove.

Something to take into consideration:

People who stop paying a mortgage and go into foreclosure typically live in the home in question, sometimes for months to years until the foreclosure finishes and they are officially booted out (short sales work in similar ways).

That isn’t the case with Phil and makes thing a little more interesting from the bank’s end and the court’s end. This isn’t a deadbeat (by money standards not life standards) who has no money.

A lot of people are convinced nothing major will come of this but people are underestimating how vicious a bank can be when you owe them money. Especially when you make over $10,000 a month.

The fact that he’s ignoring and mass banning anyone who talks about this I believe is proof this is serious. Don’t be surprised if we get some choice gin tweets in the coming days.

The thread on the tumbleweed forums is still up, somehow hasn't been nuked yet.

Either DSP is gonna address this or he hit the gin hard last night and hasn't been paying attention to em.

Ok two questions, first is this sort of court case recorded and could one get the footage from a foia request and second dont judges allow the defendant in some circumstances to conference call in? I've heard of such instances when it came to child support and divorce cases.

Oh and also with that contract I'm surprised Phil didn't go the whole sovtard route "Dood that's not me on the paper it says PHIL BURNELL I'm Phil Burnell that's not the same person, where's your Corpus Delicti and defending party? *ack ack snort* The banks notta person okay so uh this is totally debunked".

I knew this would happen sooner or later, when he said that he wasn't gonna pay for the KHANDO anymore. But it actually came earlier then i expected.

I wonder how he will weasel himself out of this, if at all. This is not like begging to be unbanned or just silencing his detractors.

King of Hate isn't a brand name LOLOL who the fuck even knows "The King of Hate" moniker besides us and his speds? Most people don't even know who DarksydePhil is unless you say "the guy who jacked off on stream" (now that's a brand name he's got going on, I'll give you that one). Let's not give Phil more credit than he deserves please. He streams to at max 500 people on an internet filled with billions of people looking for shit to watch.

People act like we're in some dystopian future where DSP corporation runs everything and he's the richest man in the world and nothing can effect him. He's a slimy begger with no clout and apparently endless debt. You're in for a wake-up call from your fantasy world just like DSP is. Don't get me wrong, I wish he'd stick around and keep entertaining me with his failures for all time, but one can only fail so much before it starts to catch up with them.

Holy shit, he literally said it. He actually fucking said it. That's pure gold. :story:

Once again Phil Burnell loses a battle against his worst enemy: his own mouth. It will be really interesting to see if he comes clean about this lawsuit/foreclosure in regards of the money he'll be collecting in the coming week(s), or if he will keep pushing taxes as the one and only reason. If he doesn't mention this at all and he's (planning on) using the money in any way for the lawsuit/foreclosure, then he's basically running a crowdfunding based upon lies while using his fans as backers.

:stress:

I dunno, I mean most people find out about him because of either DSP being used as an example of a terrible person, or they hear that title in an ego trip of himself when they talk about him.

Oh keep in mind it's not positive credit, it''s just surprise. I find it way funnier as it is because if his scene died sooner Phil probably wouldn't be in the situation he is now. But since he has to bank on the fans (and has a massive fucking ego) it just makes it way funnier trying to coerce people into tipping but also be his natural DSP self on stream. Now that we know it's just him being a fucking moron on not paying his mortgage that whole scene playing out is going to be way fucking funnier since more people are gonna know he fucked up, will probably get banned from chat posting about it, and Phil is gonna be squirming like a worm trying to get tips.

Friendly reminder to everyone to take such things with a grain of salt, lest we forget Patrick and Brenda Bronsgeest. Nothing regarding you personally, of course.
Honestly the only thing about this story that doesnt sound true is that Phil was actively trying to get laid instead of just waiting around doing whatever else he wanted and masturbating on stream when he was actually hormonal enough to get it up. Even buying a condo just because it was a girl he was hot for and hes horny so he's making dumbass decisions; it sounds like something he would do. I do know why, but I dont know why he wouldnt fucking sell it though--even if you lose the money, youre actively losing money every month youre paying on it by pretending its gonna come back up or something.

Didnt someone suggest it had like hail damage and a hole in the roof anyway?

Youre on the exact opposite coast of the continent, honestly probably the furthest you could get away from that property while still being on the same landmass, youre not going back to Connecticut so why are you still holding on to a property that is losing value just because you "dont want to lose money on it"? I mean this isnt a fucking country youre running from, you cant just jump a border and pretend youre fine, put on a new name, a bowler hat and a fake moustache--this is sea to shining sea goddamn America.

Youre free bleeding every month but arent even going to try and staunch the wound? Even the most debased addict will cut out everyone and everything else to stay in their habits.

This motherfucker instead decides he wants like six copies of Death Stranding because he doesnt want to have to get up and walk ALL THE WAY across the room to plug in the Xbox if it isnt already plugged in, so he needs it on PS4 too.

Good point, he'd probably be way happier in life and in less debt if long ago when he started to be on the decline he had given up this "Entertainer" lifestyle he wants to live. Instead he went full in on being famous on the internet. Be careful what you wish for I guess.

To be a fly on the wall after judgement is passed and, in that million to one shot, Phil has to show up or phone in to talk with the judge and bank about how he makes his bones and how much that is:

Got to be one of his greatest fears, to go face to face and have to explain himself, his way of living and the money involved to professional, educated (I'd imagine) successful adults and why he should be able to keep doing what he does with little or no penalty for those couple hundred Eurocucks and wheelchairs.
