Was talking to my friend who likes TLJ (god know why) but he is not looking forward to Plan 9 either and said something that is actually kind of nice to think about.

I love how Abrams comes in, sees everything on fire, and decides LET ME GRAB SOME GASOLINE MY DUDES!
Not only is the community torn as is, but then proceeds to shit the bed so hard that he even pisses off the shills that DEFENDED Last Jedi, now you have your average SW fan angry and your CONSOOMER fans mad too. Brilliant!!!
Like the prequels now look even better by comparison, they aren't perfect but at least George himself was overseeing it and had some sort of overall vision for his three movies which is something that you can't seem to say about the sequel films.

The prequels were also made with legitimate love for the craft and source material. Lucas' ambition and ego simply outstripped his ability. But you can see that love in the work, which goes a long way. Especially when compared to this... thing.

It is as I predicted.
