A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

Another day, another Google troon (“Kathryn Spiers”) getting fired for “union organizing” clownery, in this case altering a Chrome extension to point to some union-connected law site and deploying it to the entire company:

At this point tech might want to rethink the whole “let’s hire troons to fill out our female quotas” strategy. Can having to fix someone’s bad code and quickly find a way to move them over to work requirements instead really be more annoying and costly than this?

Never hire troons. And all corporations should have a containment plan for those who troon out after hire.

Look it’s one thing to be respectful to gender but I can’t stand these phony articles or “discoveries” that go, “WOW WHAT LOL? MEN ARE SOMEHOW GIVING BIRTH NOW?! THATS COOL!”

It’s so freaking obvious why that’s happening, nobody buys it, why do they try so hard to project that these are biological men giving birth?
I know enough people who uncritically accept this and talk about how cool it is. I'm probably one bad day away from becoming a complete hermit. Get all this internet shit out of my life and just work on my car and garden.

I vacillate between "oh my god, we have to stop this madness" to "eh, fuck it, I'm going to go off grid and let the world burn". The most depressing part of all this for me has been seeing scientists embracing this (or at least remaining silent about it). We should have already had biologists taking people to task for thinking that scientific fact can be changed via a social media consensus.

Another menstrual hygiene product company goes woke https://www.lunette.com/blogs/news/gender-and-period-care-products
Gender and Period Care Products
As long as menstruation has been around (i.e. forever) it’s been classified as something uniquely feminine. Throughout centuries of civilization, individual cultures have identified periods as either a sacred and powerful time or a dangerous and unclean one. But regardless of how societies feel about the process of menstruation itself, it has been clearly labeled as something that embodies femininity in its most untouched state.

Seemingly an ancient thought process to those of us who understand the need for inclusivity, the words feminine and period still go hand in hand today. You see it used on the packaging of period care products, in commercials, and in the daily language that many of us use to discuss our menses. It’s been handed down from generation to generation and seems so normal to most people.

The key word here? Most. The majority of people identify as cisgender, meaning that they feel that they were born with the correct genitals.

But what about the rest of the population? The transgender men who have uteruses but do not identify as women? The agender or nonbinary people who prefer gender neutral pronouns like “they” to “him” or “her”? These marginalized groups have been left out of the menstruation conversation entirely and it’s a bloody shame.

Who has periods?
I think the first real question to tackle is “who has periods?”. If we can understand that it’s not just a cis-woman who has - and wants to have a uterus - that is buying these menstruation products, then we unlock a door that will allow for further exploration into the true problem with labeling them as “feminine”.

The genders that experience a monthly period include:
  • Transgender men
  • Agender people
  • Nonbinary people
  • Cisgender women
These groups of people all experience the monthly flow of blood from their uterus and, decidedly, not all of them identify as “feminine”. Additionally, plenty of people who do identify as feminine don't experience menstruation.
People past menopause don't experience periods and they are not inherently less feminine. Transgender women and women who have undergone a hysterectomy don't experience monthly bleeding and still are able to express any amount of femininity that they desire.
Conclusively, we can tell that not all women have periods and not all people who have periods are women.

How Feminine-Only Language Hurts
Humans love to use language to categorize and sort. Labels are often used as shorthand to describe groups of people, especially when we feel the need to categorize a group without having to acknowledge every individual. A problem is created when the language used is inaccurate and leads to incorrect or generalized assumptions about a group of people - like that all people who have periods are women. When we hold tightly to these outdated and presumptive labels, like “feminine hygiene”, we exclude and shame people. Sure, it’s probably not intentional. But intention really has no effect on how a transgender man feels purchasing a menstrual product that has “feminine care” slapped all over it.

The feminine-only language approach to having a period is not only irrelevant but can also lead to a plethora of issues that affect self-esteem, cause body dysmorphia, and contribute to the overall misunderstanding of people who don’t identify with their born gender.

All this is to say that we, as a culture, need to be conscious of the impact that simple shifts in language may have and recognize that those shifts have a marked effect on our behavior and perceptions. When we use the term feminine, we imply that this product is for use only by those who identify and present as such. Frankly? That's kind of silly. We can use the power of our words to make menstruation, an inclusive experience, actually feel that way.

This shift is also happening at a time when our cultural understanding of how differences in the ideas of sex, gender, and expression lead to a better picture of individuals. Rather than trying to force everyone into a definitive label of man or woman, we are learning to embrace the spectrums of diversity that make humanity so amazing. We can parse the differences between sex and gender on various spectrums and acknowledge that biology might not be related to gender expression at all. Want to present as feminine and have feminine tools for your period? Awesome! But that shouldn't be the only option and especially not the default one.

What to Say Instead
So, it’s pretty clear that the use of female-centric words needs to cease in the menstruation industry. This begs the question of what to say instead.

Depending on the context, you can try to avoid naming groups of people. For example, instead of saying “Some people who menstruate prefer Lunette” you could say “Lunette is a preferred menstrual care product”. I mean, we all get that, if you’re using a period product then you probably have a period. I’ve been guilty of quipping “people with uteruses” from time to time - until I realized that, hey, this person who has a uterus may really, really wish they didn’t have one. And so to lump them into a group that reminds them that they do have a uterus, possibly contributing to body dysmorphia, well, I don’t want any part of that.
In terms of addressing body parts, it’s always a good idea to use correct medical terminology like “vagina”, “cervix”, or “uterus”, instead of cutesie names. Yes, these words may still make some people uncomfortable but needing a degree of precision when talking about matters of health is necessary and, from what I understand, most people who do not identify as female are understanding and alright with this.

It is time for us to use this knowledge and understanding to change another label. We’ve changed racist labels. We’ve changed sexist labels. Now, let’s change cisexist ones. Periods are not inherently feminine. Periods are a biological phenomenon that impacts the lives of people who are born with a uterus. We have the power to grow toward inclusion of all people who menstruate, and now is the time for that shift. All people deserve to feel comfortable taking care of themselves during their time of the month. Period.
>"I’ve been guilty of quipping “people with uteruses” from time to time - until I realized that, hey, this person who has a uterus may really, really wish they didn’t have one. And so to lump them into a group that reminds them that they do have a uterus, possibly contributing to body dysmorphia, well, I don’t want any part of that."
Not even "people with uteruses" is okay to use now apparently. We must cease to explicitly acknowledge that there even is such a thing as a specific group of people who can get periods altogether.

Cui bono?

An article about the rise of internet pornography and its effects in which the trans issue is briefly discussed https://amgreatness.com/2019/12/15/a-science-based-case-for-ending-the-porn-epidemic/
Changing What We Crave
(...)

Incredibly, porn can even affect our sexual orientation. A 2016 study found that “many men viewed sexually explicit material (SEM) content inconsistent with their stated sexual identity. It was not uncommon for heterosexual-identified men to report viewing SEM containing male same-sex behavior (20.7 percent) and for gay-identified men to report viewing heterosexual behavior in SEM (55.0 percent).” Meanwhile, in its “2018 Year in Review,” PornHub disclosed that “interest in ‘trans’ (aka transgender) porn saw significant gains in 2018, in particular with a 167 percent increase in searches by men and more than 200 percent with visitors over the age of 45 (becoming the fifth most searched terms by those aged 45 to 64).”

When this phenomenon is discussed at all, the prevailing narrative is that these men are repressed and discover their “true” sexual orientation through porn—except that the men report that the attraction goes away when they quit online porn.

This is astonishing. The point is not to try to start a moral panic about the internet turning men gay—the point is that it’s not turning them gay.

But perhaps it’s turning at least some men into something else. Andrea Long Chu is the name of an American transgender writer, who writes with admirable honesty about her gender transition and experience. For example, Chu braved criticism from trans activists by writing in a New York Times essayabout the links between her gender transition and chronic depression, and denying that her transition operation will make her happy. In a paper at an academic conference at Columbia, Chu asked: “Did sissy porn make me trans?” Sissy porn is a genre—again, once extremely obscure and inexplicably, suddenly growing into the mainstream—where men dressed like women perform sex acts with men in stereotypically submissive, female roles. Sissy porn is closely related to the genre known as “forced feminization,” which is pretty much just what it sounds like. In a recent book, Chu essentially answers her own question: “Yes.”

It’s unclear—unknowable, perhaps—to what extent Chu’s experience matches up with the increasing rate of sexual transitions, but even if her example is purely anecdotal, it should serve to underscore the point: porn rewires our brain at a fundamental level and changes what we crave. And that should alarm us regardless of what we believe about transgender issues.

”People with uteruses” shouldn’t be used because it might hurt tranny fe-fes, not because it’s awkward as all hell and pretty hard to understand to large groups of people? Seriously many of these terms while technically correct enough are something people don’t normally use and sometimes even don’t know the meaning of. Periods are something that young girls, mentally handicapped and none native speaker females all can have and many of those have hard time with this language game. Heck large portions of the normal folks would be very least wierded out if not completely confused. Plain common language is important for information being accessible.

How about we cater to the 99% of menstrual products users who identify as biological women (I refuse to use cis-gender)? Fuck the other 1%. Instead 99% of us have to never have the words "women", "feminine", "female" used because it would upset 1% of people who are fucking nuts and can't accept biology.

They've actually made "feminine" a dirty word. As if being a biological woman is something shameful.

NAL and all but the Forstater outcome is pants shittingly absurd. The judgement includes the comment that believing in two immutable sexes is ‘incompatible with human dignity and the fundamental rights of others’.

Ninja’d by @Falkor, so I shall simply share the absolute disgrace that testified for CGD, Clair Quentin:

Clair has the cold dead eyes of a psychopath or a Reddit troon.

Clair locked down Clair’s socials right after testifying, as if Clair realised Clair had somewhat fucked the pooch, thus embarrassing Clairself.

Bonus, Clair Quentin in motion:

There's two kinds of tranny tech nerds. There's the kind who troon out first and learn to code second because they have bills to pay and all their troon friends make it seem so easy. And then there's the ones who were originally real engineers, who just so happened to be asocial degenerates who end up trooning out.

The latter group are still competent engineers. Companies will gradually learn to differentiate the two. I don't think we're going to see troonery forced out of tech because of incompetence, because plenty of competent troons exist.

The real problem is still the demographic thing, where some troon gets promoted over a woman, and if the woman wants to complain about it, the company will just point to all the other troons they've put in higher up positions. (God, imagine being a real woman having to answer to a trans "woman" programming manager.) You can't complain about discrimination based on stats, because, well, omg 45% of their engineering staff are "women".
Maya Forstater has lost her employment tribunal case (claiming discrimination against her philosophical beliefs after being sacked for stating she believes men can't change sex and become women). Full judgement here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12P9zf82TicPs2cCxlTnm0TrNFDD8Gaz5/view

Or attached.
A fun quote (emphasis added):
There is nothing to stop the Claimant campaigning against the proposed
revision to the Gender Recognition Act to be based more on self-identification.
She is entitled to put forward her opinion that these should be some spaces
that are limited to women assigned female at birth where it is a proportionate
means of achieving a legitimate aim. However, that does not mean that her
absolutist view that sex is immutable is a protected belief for the purposes of
the EqA.
Lol, "sex is immutable" is not protected by whatever flaccid free speech rights they have in the UK.

Edit: Ah, ok, this is for employment law. Still gay tho.

In the list it said "For the gender bending best friend: Triangles swim top or binder". Isn't a swim top just... So I clicked the link and perused their wares.

The rest of this post is not safe for work, not good for intelligence, but I found it funny.
The "triangles swim top" that got recommended. I like the mustache but I don't see what's special about the top.

Maybe they have less stupid binders, the other gift suggestion.

wtf binder.jpgwtf binder.jpg

What absolute garbage. The founder of the Rebirth brand, Sky Cubacub, is a self-described “a nonbinary queer and disabled Filipinx human from Chicago, IL with life long anxiety and panic disorders.” Sky claims the point of inspiration for the brand was her inability to find a binder at 18. She says she is the both the designer and maker of the Rebirth line and boy does it show.

View attachment 1055241

Look at how shittily this is made. The seams don’t match up, the underbust band is different widths, the patterns don’t connect, and the seams are fairly bursting apart in the top (check out the purple binding on the left.) It’s clear she’s using a home sewing machine and not a serger which you need for things like spandex and stretch knits, otherwise the material easily unravels and you’re left with a hankies not a bathing suit. This idiot charges $85 for something that would get tossed into the rag pile at a Manila sweatshop— and people pay for it. Fools and money.

And lol this review. Asthma + wearing a binder=at least they won’t procreate.

I went to "meredith"s twitter and the first fucking thing I saw was a tweet telling people to leave CWC alone, and condemning kiwi farms specifically. new lolcow?
Commenting on a post from a month ago, but just waned to point out that the redacted name in the Post Millenial article about the violent troon Meredith Russo looks to be the name of his daughter Vivian. The top of the capital V and the dots over the two i's match up. (The red letters aren't exactly the same font and size, but you get the gist.) It's difficult to say what the rest of the redacted words might be, but as everyone already guessed, it appears to be confirmation that horrible hulking man did something awful to that defenseless little girl.

First word might be "beaten" or "beat and", the 'b' is there and what could be a 't' is in the right place and it makes sense considering the kerning.
You've [beaten] (something) Vivian or You've [beat and] something Vivian - "beat and" seems like the better fit. In the word after that there looks to be j or a y(poking out at the bottom).

Why is this person's armpits directly on top of their pectoral muscles. I'm assuming this one is an FTM and I almost feel sorry for it. So many of them look like they have borderline down syndrome or other chromosomal disorders and defects.

Why do they always have a head the shape of an olive? I mean it's basically a requirement for NBs. Even Nora Reed has that going on.

Nuke the fucking UK already. It doesn't deserve to exist. Or we should just fucking invade them and colonize them. Bring them freedom and democracy.

Don't forget it was your (then) President Obama who signed that bathroom bill that allowed trans mentals to invade womens' (including childrens') bathrooms and changing rooms. The UK, unfortunately, is just following the example America set.
