Tbh the Warhammer adventures wasn't as bad as I was afraid of. The Necrons suddenly invade an Imperial Hive World, the kids spend the adventure mostly running away in terror. Space Marines come to fight the machines and lose. The Necrons blow up the planet. And all for an incredibly petty reason.
Now Marvel... that makes me nervous.

Reading the Forbes review where the guy bitched and moaned about it not following up on the amazing potential of TLJ had me giggling. Now the woke shills are mad because JJ tried to pivot back to the first brand of shit Disney Star Wars served up, and the fans are still mad because the second brand of shit the shills liked was still just shit and going back to the first isn't an improvement. It's like Disney designed this movie to please almost nobody.
Mind you, I still foresee it cracking a billion dollars. Fans gotta fan, and I do know some people who unironically enjoy it (and I pray for them and hope that they heal from their affliction soon). But the fact that some of the most egregious, insane, and insulting leaks turn out to be true? Oh my God-Emperor, this is incredible. I haven't felt this kind of schadenfreude since the 2016 election.

TLK needed to make 1.2 Billion minimum to turn a profit.
It made maybe $650 mill? For comparison, that's less than the first Transformers film ten years previously.
Needless to say it nearly bankrupted Paramount and forced a massive reorganization internally. They also lost a critical contract with HuaHua Media that was supposed to help future films - not all of them more Transformers films mind you - because TLK shit the bed so hard. It also had the beneficial side effect of forcing Hasbro's hand to renegotiate their terms of partnership with Paramount, picking up the tab on the Bumblebee movie when HuaHua abandoned ship...in return for being given far greater control over the end product (which they should have been doing from the get-go).
Bumblebee, the movie, is actually good, because it rejects virtually all the shit from the bay films aside from BB not talking (and the film actually utilizes it better than any bayfilm).
