Mom holy fuck. I KNEW THIS PERSON. We were in a relatively tight-knit server together, They used to identify as a woman and called themself a lesbian, until they started to have crushes on male fictional characters, then they started to say they were NB and "gay" for those dudes. It always seemed like they had this weird aversion to being considered "heterosexual", like being bi and in a relationship with someone of a different gender doesn't make you suddenly straight. they were one of those people who would constantly be saying that they're broke, but also spend money on stupid shit like a PlayStation. Thats not even the juicy part. The real drama came like a year later.

They left the main server and started their own, and turns out they were shit talking a lot of the original people from the server the whole time for being "problematic" or whatever, and there was going to be a callout post or something but honestly I just stopped paying attention to those guys because I left the server before all this shit went down. I hadn't thought about them in like 2 years until I saw this post.

Edit: what's with their weird obsession with being jewish all of a sudden?

"I don't identify with typical gender roles therefore I must not be a woman." The state of being a man or being a woman isn't something that you act (*cough* Judith Butler *cough*), it's simply what you are. In a sense it excludes humans from being animals themselves, as male and female non-human animals simply don't operate under the notion of how things "should be, technically speaking" as opposed to the basic realities of life.

the way this person wrote it, it is exceptional, but i’ve observed this in perfectly normal gay men and women. This person doesn’t even know they’re a victim to troonthought.
What I’ve observed, non-straight young people (teens, early 20s) will typically experience a low grade yet persistent feeling of discomfort with themselves before or just around the time they realize they aren’t straight, and this is because they feel it makes them less than the stereotypical man/woman
This is perfectly natural when it’s something so core to yourself yet different from the norm, but because this feeling of disconnect to gender roles as been equated to gender itself by troons, and it has received such attention as of late, these young gay people believe they have dysphoria.
Troonery is just enabling internalized homophobia within young gay people.
