This isn't about pandering to the woke, this is about destroying the goyim and their identity.

If Disney could give out free Oxycodone and Fentanyl with Nu Wars tickets they would, because it would kill more whiteyes.

I'll give you the directors for sure. And production is not exactly reigning them in.

But the only agenda the C-levels push is "making money". Woke, "make an impact" people are usually younger and cheaper to hire, and their work tends to attract younger audiences. So they have a vested interest in appearing woke, but that's only because that's been making them profits. The diveristy whiplash is because when the US was 90% white, huge shock, the casts of their film were white. That is now becoming a market place liability, and they are course correcting to keep the company on the right side of history. That will continue until the bottom line gets fucked with.

You're already seeing trouble starting to brew.

It's not really a liability since they actually had a lot of non-white actors before hand and many areas are still majority white. They are just overcorrecting something that will naturally change anyway.

They are doing it to appeal to the twitter activist demographic while failing to realise they aren't the majority of people.

Yeah, this has nothing to do with muh JEUHS or demographics or whatever tinfoil nonsense you guys are on about.

These companies keep going woke because their market research which these days consist of taking a gander at social media tells them that's what's cool with the kids now and they keep adding minorities and women to widen the demographic appeal * because a wider net equals more money * which isn't a new concept btw * OG Star Wars did it with Lando and the 1960s Batgirl was explicitly created for this purpose *.

I don't want to do another long gay post about Twitter distortion, but the tl;dr is social media, Twitter primarily but also face book, are where all 'audience engagement' has moved to because of the easy and speed of feedback.
They haven't really woken (ha!) up to the fact Twitter is very small, is not indicative of general demographics, and the small minority of active users even less so.

All the race baiting on twitter has allowed the convincing of not just Disney that if they don't diversify they will be crucified. Disney has taken this to heart more than others because they play the long game, and they have not yet been able to get Song of the South purged from existance.

Anyway, so when I say its a liability, I should have said "Disney board perceives it to be a liability and is acting accordingly" because they are assuming Twitter reflects reality.


(Despite the movie being a perfectly decent children's film with lots of good songs and prominent black characters, it is haram because it's set post civil war and doesn't address the issue of slavery.)
