I’m so confused by Phil. Why didn’t he try to rent out the Kahndo?
Everything you said is something a normal well-adjusted adult would attempt but you have to remember this is Phil and there's one simple truth that rings true: If it requires any manner of human interaction whether it be face to face or on the phone Phil will have nothing to do with it because he cannot ban them for troll bits, scoff at or outright ignore because of that human interaction. He's the sort of guy who'd be paranoid of his own shadow if it wasn't attached to his feet.

Another reason Phil gave for not renting the condo was that if something broke, he couldn't just drive over and fix it.

Implying if there was any problem Phil would be able to fix it. He was unable to hang blinds. He was unable to paint a wall. He was unable to hang a picture. He was unable to light the pilot on his water heater. He can't lift 50lbs.

So if something breaks, Phil is going to have to hire someone else to fix it regardless. If he had a property manager, the renters would call them and they would take care of it.

"Phil, why not have your parents manage your property?" Umm, no! They live too far away. They can't drive. They are too old. They don't have the time.

They live 10 minutes away.
Phil's dad drives to work every day. He drove Phil and Kat around during their Connecticut trip.
They are in their early 60's.
Phil's mom has no job and spends all day chain smoking and watching QVC.
In addition when someone asked how Phil knows there aren't squatters living in the condo Phil said he know because his parents check on it all the time.

Every time you completely and thoroughly dissect Phil into a heap of ashes on the ground, it's a fresh reminder of what a pathetic excuse for an existence he leads.

Even assuming he couldn’t get the full mortgage payment a month, surely it would’ve knocked it down enough for him to afford it. Then once it’s paid off you can sell it for as much as you can get.
Of course, this is someone who moved across the country for no reason, bought another Kahndo and has leased several expensive cars despite his entire job being done from his home and not needed transportation or relocation.
he tried to rent it out but the realtor called him instead of texting him, so he ended the relationship

All these are relevant, but this is the most important one.

He said that the money he got wouldn't have been enough. Which is stupid because, ya know, any amount of extra income is enough. Especially when you have a property you are paying for that is not being used whatsoever.

So take Phil's nonsense about "If I could dump my Condo, that'd be a lot of money freed up." We figure the CT property runs him about $1200 a month. Now because neither he nor his parents would be able to take care of problems since he'd be acting as a landlord; he'd need a property management company to do it for him. Just a hypothetical; let's say he could get it rented for $900 a month, but pays the Property Management company $100 a month. That's $800 a month freed up for him to buy oats for his horse. Instead he eats the full $1200 and whines like a fucking bitch about how an interested party "couldn't follow instructions" and tried to call him instead of emailing as Phil wanted.

But mainly, Phil doesn't work in fractions, possibles, or percentages; he's all or nothing. He doesn't want a portion of that debt to be mitigated, if he's gonna put in effort, he wants all of it mitigated. The same reason he hasn't made a real attempt to sell those statues he has accumulating dust in his closet. He knows he paid X-dollars for them, and refuses to sell them for a profit that is less than X-dollars; despite obvious damage and depreciation.

Agreed. It's funny that once you break down his possible motivations to laziness, greed and pride, and then you're unable to identify which one is at work in any given failed aspect of his life, you really start to realize what a two-legged disaster he is.

People keep talking about all the self-imposed disasters that led to this, but no one seems to talk about how many paypigs he has thrown under the bus & burned a bridge with. You'd think that if maybe he didn't completely put them on blast at the slightest provocation, they might still be around. Would keeping old paypigs around make a dent in his financial burden?

The only immediate example that comes to mind is Swagginz, who Phil mercilessly tossed aside. I think recently some troll impersonated a donor talking shit to Phil then Phil lost it and permabanned the donor on stream, no questions asked.

As an aside, I think there are an infinity of things Phil could do that would bring in big bucks. A house tour, a jasper cam, maybe some out-and-about shit, a modest update to his streaming setup... so many things. I mentioned this in another thread, but back in the day, movie critics Siskel and Ebert had a dog named Spot, who, upon barking, would trigger a segment called 'Dogs of the Week', where the two pitch what they thought was the worst recent movie in theaters. Maybe do something like that with that cat everyone paid $2k for.

It's just like Chris-chan, who could be easily be raking in thousands a month if he put a modicum of effort into things like streaming or more real life shit instead of wobbling around and making tard gurgles while playing with cards that literally nobody asked for. Both of these cows refuse to improve in very simple ways and as such, they are their own worst enemy.

Let's be fair here - keeping up with everything that proves how much of a shitlord Phil is would be FAR too time-consuming for most people to ever care enough to do. It'd be like asking someone to start reading One Piece and then tell them there's 900+ chapters - the sheer volume of content alone will scare them off.
The big difference being One Piece has been fun to read for many and people that start reading could potentially enjoy it, there is no way in hell that the whole of the proof of how awful DSP is an titanic piece of shit would be amusing to watch or read about to the vast majority of humanity

More like he barely tried to make the excuse that it totally isn't his fault (because Pig despises taking blame to the point where it's pathologic for him to avoid it). He does that a lot to try and play victim.

Probably does add on to his really idiotic hatred of having to split money at all, even if it'd guarantee money rather than bring in no money at all.

Why would any new people follow Phil when there are younger, more engaging steamers?
Maybe he could temporarily wring out some cash from his current paypigs with a special going out of business sale, but that’s not a long term solution.
If I was Kaht I’d be extremely worried. His current financial situation means he has no savings or retirement plan. Does he think he’s still going to be streaming when he’s 65? Where does he think he’s going to be in 5 years? 10? Maybe he’s banking on a huge inheritance from his parents? Which, you know, they’d both have to be dead for.
But Jesus. If the Wakahndo isn’t paid off, he’s this far in debt (which again means there’s significant other debt that he hasn’t revealed), if I was Kaht, I’d be looking for an annulment or divorce and getting out of there fast. Unless she also plans to work some part time retail job for the rest of her life as the pig roach bankrupts them to homelessness.
I’m just amazed at the ineptitude. Phil literally scams autists out of their tugboats to fund his life. He made thousands each month doing so. And somehow has gotten into tens of thousands of dollars in debt. At least Chris is a certifiable tard. I thought Phil went to college for this shit.

what may likely happen is that the bank will take Phil's WAkahndo and put him on a payment plan for the rest.
why would they agree to let him pay monthly against the deficiency when he already reneged on an agreement to pay monthly against the principal?
  • Let's assume he owed $100K as of the lawsuit filing and previously agreed to pay $600 per month for a 30 year period ending 20 years from now.
  • Let's assume it is auctioned off and he owes a deficiency of $50K.
  • He was already unwilling to pay $600 per month, so he's unlikely to agree to a payment that high.
  • This is now an very large unsecured (or undersecured) loan, so let's assume a minimum interest rate of 15%.
The fastest DSP could pay off this loan at 15% interest with monthly payments less than $600 would be over 50 years (I can't find a calculator that will exceed 50 years). If they compel sale of that [Washington] condo and he declares bankruptcy under Chapter 13 they'll probably get it in 5 years. If they compel sale of that [Washington] condo and for some ungodly reason he doesn't declare bankruptcy they'll get it in like 1 year. 15% interest is generous. He'd probably be paying a lot more.

He could have used the rent money to make extra payments toward the mortgage, allowing him to increase his equity in it and sell it sooner while simultaneously reducing the amount of interest he paid. Instead he did DSP stuff.

It was all he could do dood! You just don't understand the adult business world. Bugged mortgage mechanics.

Well, people like odd things. Even the worst movie or book in the world will still have a few die-hard fans. This would explain some of the views, but not all.

I believe most of the people supporting him with a few dollars are doing it out of spite. Now, please bear with me on this as I share my idea.

If his income dropped to zero, he would be forced to improve his life, or die homeless on the streets. But if you could give him just barely enough to get by doing the streaming thing, he will continue to stream. So, by this logic, you can keep him trapped in the miserable life he has. You can keep him in a perpetual state of financial panic and anxiety (he can never truly know when his easy money will dry up) and get laughs from the shitty behavior he engages in as a result of his emotional state. Thus giving him a little support is an act of hate.
That is where I believe his support comes from.

I get what you mean but when you add all of it up he gets far more than just the bare minimum to keep him streaming. Id tip him like half a cent out of spite just to watch the immediate "wow dood really diggin deep there ackackack" charge it back just cause get my chuckles and leave

If he had been netting $600 a month rent on the CT condo since he moved out and been applying that towards increased mortgage payments he currently almost would not be underwater on that mortgage and could just sell it. ($600×12 months×5 years=$36,000)
He would be within a single 'REEmergency Fundraiser's distance of being rid of it free and clear.

Also you cannot convince me that not one single other unit in that condo-plex is being rented out by a property management company. That is the lie Phil has been shouting at his ♿fans for 5 years, that no property management company will touch a unit in that condo-plex. It's fucking nonsense.

This is how stupid and pathetic Phil is. All he had to do was 1 thing 1 time and then nothing for 5 years and he wouldn't have had this problem. Instead he did nothing because he can't even talk to 1 person 1 time and now he's being sued for $101,000.

Talk? Like on the phone? Nono. They shouldve email dsp.

He said the only company he could find was one he had previously interacted with and didn't like. DSP, known for taking on unnecessary financial stress for the benefit of his paying customers, refused to hire them because he didn't want a tenant to suffer as he did.

It doesn't really matter what excuse they tell themselves about giving him money. In the end if you give someone like dsp money you're just an idiot.
