Gay marriage in the USA was more important to a gaming forum than the death of one the industry's most influential creators.

This seems like a retcon excuse. Rey was obviously the trilogy hero from the first movie, nobody would hate the second film for that. The whole "woke" divide thing makes no sense as the established female characters get shunted to the side for their "brothers" and the minority ones are sent off on a meaningless C-plot adventure then they walk into a firefight by accident almost. Even Phasma gets dropped down a pit. Leia and Dangerhair Dern are shown to be EPICLY WRONG (seriously millions of people are said to be killed) so Poe has to save what's left of the resistance after Luke gives them a distraction.

Now I'm not saying any of that was necessarily bad for a film/story, but in woke circles you're supposed to only show minorities being successful and being good people and being front and center. Not fucking everything up and getting shoved off to the side for the white males. (Well, okay, actually you ARE but not for just ANY white male that comes along.)

Since ResetEra is now cancelling J.K. Rowling after her Tweets regarding transpeople, they should probably read books that isn't Harry Potter and should read something that isn't for plebeian readers.

Here are some suggestions:
1. The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith.
2. The Republic by Plato.
3. 1984 and Animal Farm by George Orwell.
4. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.
5. All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque.
6. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
7. The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham.
8. The Iliad and The Odyssey by Homer.
9. Journey to the West by Wu Cheng'en.
10. Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
11. The Short-Timers by Gustav Hasford.
12. The Tale of Genji by Murasaki Shikib.

Really, by now these people should have expanded to other stuff but they sure don't want to move on from the 2000's and read better stuff.
