Didnt he say he will play SF2 for sure? Now its just a backup game. And this was the reason he wont play SFV.

KOTOR and Myst are pointless. KOTOR for the reasons discussed plenty of times, and Myst because Dave is trash at puzzles and chat will be handholding him, even though Myst is really fucking easy and straightforward except for the sound puzzle near the end.

Actually, when it comes to Myst I wouldn't be surprised if he never even gets to an actual age. If he's playing the games for an hour or so each, he's going to spend the first hour just dicking around on the island instead of trying to actually get anywhere. Pointless game to include.

myst and KOTOR? why does he insist on playing 40+ hour games for a marathon? Ill bet money that he will give up before getting into the first world in myst let alone getting a single page.
Phil should read a guide for Myst. Imagine if he boots it up, runs around flipping all the switches on the island to get the hidden page. Puts the secret code in the fireplace. Gives Atrus his page and beats the game in 10 minutes.

What would be even better is he only reads half the guide for myst and ends up giving either the red or blue page to one of the sons. I wonder how long he would wait before he realized he lost the game.

So it's Friday night. Phil's big stream is Sunday. He has to work all day Saturday. He hasn't researched any of these games yet.
All his knowledge of Roblox probably comes from the ads.
"Roblox! It's FREEEEEEEEE"

I can't wait for him to play Myst. That game will break his brain.

Derich... ofc he wants to play a kiddie game with dsp.

Don't keep your hopes up, Derich. He ain't playing with anyone. His whole Roblox experience will be wandering around aimlessly and reading stream chat for help on what to do.

This whole event is going to be trash. Suicide Kings will just be some awkward bullshit of people who aren't friends trying to joke around (remember DSP talking to his audience: "Uh, you're not my friends. I'm glad you're here and I enjoy your company, but we're not friends."), and Doom 2 will just be bitching about an old game, and then there's more salty SF against scrubs, maybe.

Garbage garbage garbage garbage garbage

I can't wait for him to play Myst. That game will break his brain.

Why? He's not going to do anything. It'll take him 10 minutes to do all the shit in that room at the docks, then another 15-20 minutes of wandering around the island (visiting EVERY screen) looking for the switches to open the room to the library, and that's after it takes him 3 minutes to realize he has to flip them all after chat tells him. Five more minutes fumbling around with books in the library, listening to the book cutscene things and possibly reading the unnecessary lore to avoid attempting to solve any puzzles. He'll probably put the tower in all possible positions to try and get the 'age-entering' hints on the walls, taking photos of them awkwardly with his phone instead of just using pencil and paper.

There is a slim chance he actually gets into one of the ages, and he'll need chat's help to do it. I always considered the Broken Ship age to be the 'first' age, because of its proximity to where you start and that the information needed to access it isn't really a puzzle so much as just cross-referencing stuff, and the age itself is very short and easy to solve.

It's going to be terrible and he'll just act frustrated and read chat complaining how nobody is telling him what to do or where to go.

So it's been 5 days. Has Phil met his $2k goal yet? *checks* $1009. And since he asks for $200 a day ($100 in the morning, $100 at night) that's about par for the course.

Now here's the question: which idiot is giving DSP a grand tomorrow?

He still has Monday to squeeze Christmas vacation money tax money out of people.

Pretty much this. Anybody who thinks he won't get that $2000 is fucking high. The fact it's set up as a week-long thing does suggest that it's not just for tax-related expenses. If that was the case, he could go until the end of the month. Wonder where he and Kat are spending the two days off.
