They technically don't. They're just lucky to be owned by Sony just like Aniplex who actually has the license. I think I recall hearing that Sony was (suspicious timing) merging Funi with AniplexUS.

I barely check this thread anymore but I have to make a response to this post.
This thread is about discussing the shitshow that is WeebWars. Because one side was a constant supply of "lulz", most ignored the tards in ISWV and even tolerated their dumb moments. There's no denying there are ISWV spergs lurking and participating in this thread, but this does not make this an ISWV hugbox. If you are ISWV or KickVic, I don't give a shit. Contribute to the thread or just lurk, if all you do is make dumb posts that contribute nothing or plan any gay ops you will get a warning at best or a threadban at worst. If you think we should focus more on ISWV tards we have a handy thread for it that is disappointingly underused. So if you feel this thread is too Pro-ISWV there are other options.
After the TCPA Hearing shitshow, I made the ISWV Community thread (which tbh should've been made the exact moment this became a subforum) because of how insufferable some of the ISWV speds started harassing the Judge's Facebook page (a truly wise move if you're trying to help Vic). More recently we've found a quite a few lulzy individuals within the ISWV community (Korg, Rukia and others). Korg was by far the funnest one (personal opinion) out of the ISWV spergs we've found and this is him now:

I know full fucking well that the butthurt from ISWV will properly make some of them try and take on the farms and then say that the farms betrayed them. Motherfuckering little bitches, the farms was never your ally and given how willing they are at backstabbing each other it's karmic that they are gonna get ripped to pieces here. One thing is for sure, both ISWV and KV are going down with each other and the only ones that are gonna keep their dignity are the people that got wise on both sides and let them fight to the death.
On a personal note:
If I am gonna be honest with people, I do support Vic because I want him to have justice and he's one of the few people around that genuinely a bright light in this cynical age and is a good person despite his flaw. I don't give praise or respect out like that unless there a damn good reason because too many people are cunts.
But I don't respect or support ISWV, not anymore, most of those spastics can suck a fat one as far as I am concerned. I came to the farms because I got suspended but I like this place because it's the most sane side in this conflict and I got a lot of lols here and hopefully made some people here laugh.
I want Vic to win because it would be one of the turning points in taking out the trash and hopefully get more people to fight back against this MeToo shit and clean the Dub industries. Another reason is because I want to see those fuckers trying to ruin him get ruined because they are too spregy to even do their sabotage right in a dag and age where they can get away with it although I'd fear I'll die of laughter over how funny it would be.

ISWV is disenfranchised at this point, people are not united so the dipshits actions the openly sperg out are having a bigger impact than when they were united. There will always be bad apples but when you got a group that disorganized due to constant infighting where many of the majority are guilty of dumb shit being vocal is gonna draw attention to how bad ISWV is atm. Yes, I've spoken to a few people that are still loosely affiliated with ISWV but are pissed over how people have been behaving, especially when you got some of the members that are willing to defend pedo's when the whole purpose of ISWV was defend Vic from False rape and pedophile allegations, they booted Xeynas but when it came to Ruki and Jessie bugg, some of them defended them without realising that those people are just gonna take advantage of their concern and pointing it out will make them spas out.
I hold a very dim view of ISWV with good reason and I generalize I always remember or pay attention to the exceptions and I already know of some of them. At this point I am just waiting for the schism to happen.
