That's doubly funny considering by his own words the reason why he didn't rent out the CT condo is because the property management company "didn't follow directions" and called him instead of emailed him.

I don't know how it would be proved legally, but there's no way DSP uses his phone for business. This is just him commiting fraud AGAIN and hoping nobody notices.

He'll blame his tax attorney for not reading his mind and knowing he lied, he will say detractors reported him, and that the IRS is awful for enforcing laws.

he did. he also said he writes off: printer ink, part of his goutmansion (office), games/ consoles/ equipment and his car/gas because he has to go to shops and buy games for the "business".
its really amazing that the irs hasnt fucked him yet.
he probably writes off a lot more. like his air conditioner he "100%" needs to work in his office wihout dying of heat.
i also think he employed kat, his wife, to scam the irs some more.

Half the reason he gets a "tax man" to do this for him is that he is aware of how to write off specific taxes to save money; I fully expect this to be one of the very few things this greedy and impulsive shit latched onto in Bixnood U. The other half being laziness is already apparent.

Either way, this is why Pig gets a "tax guy" to do it for him; to avoid fucking up and getting hit by the IRS. This specialist would be able to take Pig's demands and be able to make them more legal and sane.

His laziness and refusal to budget though means it's not going to matter much, especially if the small chance he isn't already bailed out of this self-inflicted hole is true. Because Banks can be just as devoted and dickish as the IRS if they need to be.

I don't think he understands the purpose of writing off business expenses. Even if something like air conditioning can be written off, I'm pretty sure he can only get a partial deduction from that since air conditioning is used outside of his business as well.*

exactly. the only thing he should write off without being a sleazy scumbag is: games, consoles, microphonmme and camera, because we all know he never uses that when he is off stream/ not getting paid.

Phil probably spends hours compiling all his bills from the year for his tax attorney. The tax guy, if he is competent, probably throws them in the trash because he knows Phil can't claim them as business expenses.

Phil can try to claim them as business deductions, but since he doesn't do his own taxes he has no idea what is or isn't actually being claimed as expenses.
