I find it funny he's outright admitting he's working Kate to the bone, she has 2 projects plus fully rendered pin-ups to draw and 3D modelling and no days off??
I get freelancing has different work flows as your income relies on what you can get out there but come on, its no wonder her stuff has regressed so much.
She's deplorable sure, but man this is really sad to see.

It's often why I find myself pitying her in a way. As an artist she has potential to be really fuckin' good; we've seen some good examples over the years of her passion. Could only happen however if Jason wasn't getting - almost literally - on her tits all the time. Kate is a monumental cunt by herself as we know, but nobody deserves to be used and drained.

Jason, fella: please make yourself useful for once. Get a job. Selfish prick.

As someone who has experience dabbling in freelance art, and does it as a side hobby, the flow really doesn't have to be that loaded, good God. If you can have a nice little fanbase (which they dont) and get art out at least once a week, even if it's a sketch (she doesnt) you can make a living. Albeit not a luxurious living, but you can sustain yourself.

What these two do to try and make money is all wrong and really doesn't work unless you're already a beloved big name artist in the community. Their big mouths and drama stirring antics really blew any chance of that.

Japanese artists come out of nowhere with super high quality art and tens of thousands of followers in half a year without ever opening commissions or doing anything but what they want to. Why? They drew as kids and never stopped. They draw because it's fun and are passionate about it. Why do something for a hobby if you don't enjoy it? Oh yeah, clout, big dicks, money, not needing to develop a personality or finish your degree. And that's how you end up like Kabier. Except yknow, most people have loving partners and go to furcons and ride dicks as it pleases them.

The most sad part of all this is what she could've done had she not bothered with this fuckhead. Sex-positive art, the ability to draw what she pleases, probably be a decent lap toy for some wealthy and caring man. I knew this one absolute whale of a toxic lowlife, and hell she had highly succesful men fight over her (literally, in real life) because of her art and art-wise sex appeal. It's so easy to make it as a furry, and honestly she's got a style way above what most furries have established careers over. Give her a partner who points out her shitty anatomy and she could be making $175 busts like the rest of the tryhards. The only thing keeping her down is ironically the man wanting them both to go far beyond.
