I thhink the people on RantGrumps (which was ironically mentioned in the episode) put it best: this podcast was just further confirmation that Brent’s a fuckin’ dick.

Like, there’s always THAT guy IRL that we know in some capacity, particularly in, say, high school: y’know, where one dude is super jealous of you accomplishing something both easier and better than they’re able to do with the same idea? But has to act super condescending towards them, and has to talk over you and talk about how proud he is of his accomplishments?

That’s Brent and Arin this entire podcast. They’re just super uncomfortable to listen to and sound really bitter towards Matt and Ryan’s success. Makes sense, given that they had to be convinced by Game Grumps’ producer to do this podcast over recording episodes, on top of the fact that they had to stop the podcast midway through to give Brent and Arin a tour to show that they were actually taking SuperMega seriously.

This was one of their conversations in the podcast. Bear in mind, I’m paraphrasing a bit, but this should give you some idea of how bad they were:

Brent: “Man, dude, y-you have 5 employees!? WOW. Good for yoooou! Have your fans lynched ya yet? Have yo-Are you gettin’ tired?“
Matt: “Oh dude you’re gonna summon the wrath of RantGrumps wi-“
Brent: “Dude it’s so cool how you have 5 employees now. Not just two guys on a couch anymore, amirite? Over at Game Grumps, we have about 20. How many do yours have, hmmmmm?”

Matt and Ryan then listed the 5 total people they have, including themselves and what their positions were.

To summize: Brent and Arin acted like superior fedora-tipping soyboys flexing about their business for nearly the entire podcast.

As much as they want to come across like they're superior soylets with more employees, they really shouldn't. I don't watch SuperMega, so as far as I know, they have their LP and their podcast, with three other people in the background working on it. Game Grumps have, what? Three shows? And they have twenty people working on it? If Arin wasn't retarded, he should, given the size of the channel, have no more than ten people working for him. Have someone COMPETENT running the social media/PR, one or two people handling merch, one or two people handling booking of the live shows between Game Grumps & Ninja Sex Party, and three to four editors. But since Arin's retarded, he's wasting his money away and we get to laugh or groan about it.

There was definitely a weird air to the podcast once Arin and Brent showed up. From the “I wouldn’t be surprised if a few things in [the new SuperMega office] are taken from the GG office!” that Brent immediately drops (You still owe us, bitches!) to how weirdly deferential the SuperMega boys are. It didn’t really have the vibe of just friends hanging out; they still think of Arin and Brent as their bosses, and even if you like your boss it’s still weird to hang out with them.

They really don’t realize that people aren’t hounding them because they have employees, having a few people around to help you with production is obviously very important when you wanna make videos as a living, it’s the fact that they have so damn many employees on their payroll and most of them literally do nothing and the ones that do seem seriously incompetent. Though this shitty mindset isn’t really surpassing considering these are the guys that use their PCs as bongs and have a smelly penis.

This should be familiar to all of you who followed the Projared/Heidi/Holly drama that was cause by two loony troons Charlie and Chai. Projared revealed in his video that Charlie or Chai (don't care, theyre both crazy) tried to get the Game Grumps attention first rather than the police. On Twitter. Only to get their account suspended. FOR HARASSMENT. Soon after, Charlie/Chai went public with their claims and the whole kerfuffle kicked off.

Both of them were revealed to be lying crazies and both of them ran off Twitter with their tails between their legs.

I think that's Katie. Some chick Arin knew/flirted with online and drew art of (deviantart archive) at some point. Probably before (or around the time) he started dating Suzy. It seemed like it was mostly a one sided thing on Arin's part and she wasn't all that much into him.

Anyway, fairly recently it seems she has decided to retcon the whole thing and talk crazy shit about how Suzy has been copying her and stolen her bestest friend in the world away or some shit.

She might actually be crazy....in like legitimately mentally ill crazy.
