Admitted member of Nazi-group takes plea deal in Lubbock

bruce-umbaugh (1).jpg

LUBBOCK, Texas — Aiden Bruce-Umbaugh, 23, accepted a plea agreement on Monday morning. He admitted that he possessed a firearm while also possessing a controlled substance.

Under the terms of the deal, if approved, he will be sentenced at a later date to no more than 10 years in federal prison.

Bruce-Umbaugh was the passenger in a car which was pulled over for speeding by a Garza County Sheriff’s Deputy. Bruce-Umbaugh, without even being asked, told the deputy he did not have consent to search the car.

According to court records, the deputy called for a K-9 unit. The dog alerted, and Bruce-Umbaugh admitted to having drugs in the car. He would later admit to using marijuana on a regular basis.

Court records said deputies were then able to search the car and they found multiple firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, THC oil and marijuana. Court records said the guns were an AR-15, two AK-47 rifles, and a handgun.

While Bruce-Umbaugh was in jail, he asked a federal judge for permission to post bond to go free while the case was pending.

Prosecutors objected.

“[Bruce-Umbaugh] is a self-admitted Nazi,” federal prosecutors wrote in late November. “He is an active member of the radical neo-nazi organization known as the AtomWaffen Division (AWD).”

Prosecutors also wrote, “The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has designated the AtomWaffen Division as a ‘hate group.’ SPLC describes the AtomWaffen Division as a ‘series of terror cells that work toward civilizational collapse.’”

The judge also noted that the driver of the car, Kaleb Cole, was designated by Canada as a terrorist threat. The judge ordered Bruce-Umbaugh to remain in jail while case was pending.

Bruce-Umbaugh signed a plea agreement last week. It was entered into court records on Monday morning.

Basically he got fucked by a substance that is legal in near by states.

He got fucked because he's an idiot.

Well, he is, but having something that's legal to have at the same time as having something it's barely even illegal to have being a potential ten year federal sentence is fucked, especially when the real sentence enhancer seems to be thinking the wrong thoughts at the same time.

Damn, that seems fast af to be accepting a shitty plea deal. I'd think

How long ago was it that they were originally arrested? It seems like it was just a few months ago to me, and way too soon for someone to be accepting a plea deal already, especially a shitty plea deal.

It was literally November 4, 2019.

This gave me a snicker.

On November 5, 2019, special agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) interviewed Defendant at Garza County Law Enforcement Center. The interview was audio and video recorded. Defendant was mirandized at approximately 11:57 a.m. and waived his rights and agreed to speak with law enforcement. During the interview, which lasted less than an hour, Defendant again admitted to being an unlawful user of marijuana. When asked how often he smokes marijuana, defendant responded "every day." Specifically, defendant stated, "I mean, I'd say every day, but not a lot. Not a large quantity. I don't consider myself a stoner by any means. It's just kinda, one of those things. I fucking hate stoners to be honest.

What's with the rocket docket on some trivial drug/gun offense?

Truly an example of the ubermensch - gets pulled over, immediately spills his spaghetti like a sovcit exceptional individual, then gets arrested, immediately waives his rights, talks to cops, admits to being a daily pot smoker, takes a plea deal immediately.

It's so fast it's actually suspicious, though I'd have no idea what's up with it. If he's right back out despite this, hmmmm.

Drugs in Texas is a big no-no, and firearms and drugs together is the Stupidity Daily Double there. His membership in the Mickey Mouse Nazi Holocaust Club wasn't a sentence enhancer, it was used as justification to not grant bail. So far.

He wasn't prosecuted under state law.

Not yet anyway, but the points remain the same. The feds have even less of a sense of humor regarding drugs & guns. Thelma and Louise, both knowing they were on LEO radar, chose to play stupid games. They won stupid prizes.

When instead of legal arguments, the prosecution cites the Southern Poverty Law Center saying you're a badthinker, that's a problem.

This is the sort of man who wants to destroy modern society.
Come to think of it have any of these guys ever even read or listened to Siege? Mason stated in it many a time to not talk to the fucking cops!

Taking photos with your cheap AR and editing them into Atomfaggen memes is way easier than reading books and taking away lessons from them.
Tom Metzger has also said the same thing. In fact, his phrase for dealing with the police is simply, "I have nothing to say." He further adds never to consent to searches and seizures.
