I thought he quit Wells Fargo because good guy Phil couldn't stand the predatory lending practices?
He probably did something stupid like short change the rolls or something. Now whether it's due to his magical ability to fuck up simple math, or Pig thought he could steal a few bucks and not get caught, you decide.

Because this was "shit that didn't happen" for 100 Alex.

At best if we take Pig for his word; he sucked at selling these plans to customers (since Wells Fargo does love to try and do this and supervisors get tetchy if you don't usually) and got written up a lot for being an antisocial weirdo.

EDIT: Him being an utter incel makes a lot of sense too; holy shit Pig is a weirdo if he tried to creep on a coworker. A lot of companies have a "no fraternizing" rule to stop drama like that.

You would think a guy who worked at a bank would understand how foreclosures work.
that would require the ability of memory retention and reading. he is the kind of guy who doesn't know how an item works in metal gear solid, despite the instructions being shown when an item is browsed over in the selection menu. the instructions take up like 50% of the screen as well. even if he knows how something works, he forgets about it not even half a minute later. there is no way he would remember anything from his job at wells fargo.

Let's be real. Dave will probably come away from this unscathed. Someone, somewhere will cover for him.

And I'll just laugh and laugh.

I know people like Dave, fuck I've dated women like that - they do something stupid that overextends them, they get underwater, then like magic someone saves them in the final hour.

Just like I've never been accused of doing something I didn't do (I did it. Every god damn time I did it), no one has ever had my back. I did allllllll the mistakes and was forced to face the consqequences every single. god. damn. time.

Now, in my 4th decade, surprise surpise I don't tend to do that shit. My terrible piece of shit wife however, has always had someone cover for her. Spend almost $60,000 on a V6 CAMARO WITH ALL THE BLING?! Oh, don't worry some old man that wants to fuck you will assume the loan and refinance.

She still hasn't learned. Dave still hasn't learned.

And I tell you what, it's a sight better to fuckup and end up on the streets at 23 than it is at 63.

Dave is the retawded brother of Terry Davis in about 10 years. "CIA Niggers restreaming mah content"

I know Destiny's a cuck but hearing him break down how fucking stupid DSP is was hilarious.
Really makes you wonder how he hasn't ended up homeless 10 times by now. 😒

At this point, if someone told me that DSP made a pact with the devil I would half believe it. Trade your soul for wealth, and it resulting in constantly escaping by the skin of his teeth from a never ending line of self-inflicted fuck ups you cannot escape from sounds like something out of the Twilight Zone.

There's no external verification he worked there. There is, however, hard proof that he worked at BestBuy until 2006, 2 years after graduation and 1 year after the helicopter factory supposedly hired him. Given his poor work ethic I think it's more likely he couldn't find anything that actually took his degree after graduation, so he worked at the Best Buy he'd been at in college until his father arranged a job for him at the helicopter plant.

Not to powerlevel but being of similar age to Phil and having followed a very-loosely similar life trajectory (primary school, college, workforce) I can say that the mid-aughts was a very dark time to be a new graduate looking for education-relevant work. If you didn't go immediately into advanced degree work or an internship (and lol at that since your ass wouldn't be paid for several years) you needed to be extremely lucky with patronage or nepotism or have otherwise really dazzling shit on your resume or it was off to the fryer with you. It's honestly a shame that streaming wasn't around a decade ago because a whole bunch of people might not have been necessarily relegated to slaving away at shit that wouldn't have paid nearly so well.

I don't say any of that to imply that I sympathize with Phil, since he might've very likely been a layabout asshole then, too. Just providing some kahntekst, dood.

Phil lived in a dorm his first semester. Then he moved back home with his parents.

Phil says after he graduated he was offered many internships. He refused to take them because he would not be paid. That may deter someone who lives on their own from taking an internship, but he had free housing and food from his parents.

He could have interned for a year and if he did a good job, get hired on to a good company. Why didn't he do this? Phil can give a handful of reasons, but the real reason is he wanted to be a pro Street Fighter player. A job would get in the way.

He had opportunities to succeed but he threw them away to play video games.

He also skipped out on at least one job interview, somehow got a payday loan, and went to a tournament instead of potentially getting a job.

I don’t feel like reading 37 pages to see if someone already said the shit I know so I’ll just say it.

Not paying it kinda does just make it go away... not in a very good way but it does, they can’t collect on his WA residence and likely the condo board will eat a lot of the cost for jurisdictional issues.

The tax attorney he has likely has experience in asset protection and one of the “emergency” fundraisers he did was likely a retainer for some more financial advice.

He could still refinance even after all this bull shit is done because WA has a lot of wacky laws similar to California’s and also.... take a guess why he married Kat so soon? There are some serious spousal benefits to being massively in debt that help protect your assets and credit line.

All in all he’ll still be massively stressed and have to deal with who wants to sue for what and when but the legal system is sloooooowww and Boomery that he’ll be okay for at least a few years.

He’s still super broke though

he probably used his CT condo to lower his risk assessment score for the WAkahndo, so idk if that would effect his chance at re-financing, plus having a foreclosure against your name won't help, he'll have higher interest rates for future financing if he does get approved

the only thing that will happen is he'll go on some payment plan and might have to cancel disney+ and WWE network subscriptions

This also is assuming that he actually has a tax attorney, and not just a shoebox full of receipts taken to H&R Block. With how Phil embellishes about everything, I'd sooner believe he is using some low-rank tax preparer to do this shit.

He’ll likely get default judgement losses in court but then they’ll have to find a way to collect and when that goes nowhere because all they can do is hire a bunch of call collectors. They’ll go suing others who will also try to pursue him.

It will likely end in a bankruptcy settlement with a payment plan but I doubt he’ll do it on his own until the veeeeeeery last milked possible moment.

The very least they'll do is put a lien on the Washington condo, knowing he's such a fuckup they'll eventually get paid. Time is on their side.

I just hope his parents wern't guarantors for the CT condo

It looks like the bank just sued everybody on the mortgage indiscriminately since the HOA is listed as both co-defendant and potential claimant, so his parents are probably in the clear since they aren't listed on there (at least, until his mother "loans" him $30k+ to pay the balance + attorney's fees for the foreclosure).
