The World Health Organization has amended its classification of transgender health issues.

Imo, this whole thing was a huge step backwards.

So if trans no longer a disorder can we now cut transitioning treatments as medical care? Equality means treating people the same and cissies have to cover their appearance insecurities themselves so trannies need do the same. Wanting bigger boobs isn’t medically covered for cis women, often even when they loose natural ones to cancer, so no government or insurance boobs on or off for trannies eather.

So there's nothing to treat, so no free cock chops or HRT any more.

I'd gladly accept this if it meant struggling socialized healthcare systems like the NHS would not be required to cover the medical and surgical aspects of "transitioning" for these "patients". It should be treated as any other form of body-modification. Do it yourself. with your own money.

And if it's just a choice to act like that, then they shouldn't be protected in employment either. Employers should be able to tell them to just knock that shit off immediately or get fired.

r/truscum is a tranny subreddit that is generally considered a hate sub by the greater Reddit trans community, to the point that it has been added to MassTagger, a browser extension that was intended to flag users of “far-right/reactionary” subs so SJWs don’t accidentally talk to someone with opposing political opinions. r/truscum is unique in that the majority of its users appear to be FTMs, unlike most troon subreddits, which are overwhelmingly occupied by male AGP troons (not counting the subs that are specifically for FTMs).

Truscum, or transmedicalists, are trannies who believe Gender Dysphoria is a mental disorder, and that this disorder should be diagnosed by a doctor in order to obtain hormones or surgery. This wasn’t considered controversial opinion prior to the mid-2010s, when the whole trans fad exploded in popularity, particularly on Tumblr where the term originated. “Tucute” refers to the belief that there is no such thing as a “transtrender,” and that doctors are obligated to prescribe hormones or surgery to anyone who demands them, no questions asked. “Tucutes” also believe in self-ID, which is the idea that one should not be required to transition to be legally recognized as the gender they self-identify as. “Tucutes” make up the majority of the online trans community, and the perpetual slapfight between these two groups is quite entertaining.

u/420conradical69 is the owner and top moderator of r/truscum. She is a teenage FTM who no longer subscribes to Truscum ideology, yet remains the owner of the subreddit for unexplained reasons. She has been criticized for frequently removing posts and comments that she deems “transphobic” even when they are highly upvoted. However, this is a kid so I don’t want to be too harsh on her specifically. Instead, I would like to frame this as a cautionary tale about what happens when parents let the Internet raise their autistic daughters. Here are some highlights from her post history:

This was a comedy of medical errors and also it was a decade ago.

So one of my dementia patients transferred to an SNF. She was like A&Ox2 on a good day. She fell getting out of bed (orthostatic hypotension is a bitch in the elderly) and went to the emergency department. They did the usual CT, found SAH, and after that she somehow went from neuro to med/surg. Not sure how that happened, I guess because her baseline was dementia and confusion.

So I go to visit her and I see this dude in scrubs with a wig on shaking her vigorously by the shoulders while telling her "MY NAME IS CYNTHIA MY NAME IS CYNTHIA!"

I love nurses but don't please shake neuro patients. That was the end of his license.

That's been the case for a while. Many health insurance policies have specific exclusions in place for this. Not sure why they're finding it out now.

Working in long term care I can only imagine the spergery that would occur if a troon tried to care for dementia patients. I'm not the manliest man out there, but I'm very clearly a man and im frequently misgenderd. Even the women are misgendered, its just a reality of working with the elderly. Luckily for me I've never had a run in with a troon at work, I doubt it will happen anytime soon either mostly because of where I live.
