You know why they make it hard to change your name? So you can't hide a criminal past. So you can't run away from debt you owe. And also because people changing their names every few months would be a nightmare for lots of people who need your legal name like doctor's offices, employers, landlords, etc. All those systems have to be updated, too, you know and it would be an administrative nightmare if normal folks changed names as often as troons do. That is why it is highly discouraged.
Yeah and by their own admission, it's a distant relative. They probably only heard the new name once or twice, and knew them their whole lives by their previous name.
It's a few hundred dollars (considering all expenses) to change a name in my state, and usually only those who are getting married do it, and then it's their last name. Still costs a lot of money and you have to take a lot of time out to do so if only from changing your name from Jane Doe to jane Doe-Smith and not Chrysanthemum Alice Revolutionary Gender Grrl or whatever. How many trans, let alone full on troons, can afford that?
In my experience, a lot of the kinds of trannys you see on social media are from well off backgrounds. That's how they're able to afford a lot of this crap in the first place. (which makes the fact that many of them are full on commies even better)
