Matt Jarbo loves Star Wars so much he would rather be in a movie theatre watching the Disney franchise rather than be present to watch the birth of his girlfriend's daughter. He would rather sit in front of a computer and defend TROS to the death than live the empty void that is his life. I think he would rather be Rose Tico or a porg or one of those levitating boulders than be Jarbo.

Yeah that was pretty fucked up when matt said he wouldn't love his daughter if he missed out on last jedi, when she was born 2 weeks before the film came out. People can like the film but he's trying way to hard to "own" midnights edge.

Say what you want about Butts, but he at least took his internet ass kicking like a man. I can kind of respect him in those regards, especially since we've had so many internet tough guys who have folded worse against the blowback they've received.
People don't use that meme as a dismissal for people liking something Matt. It's used to mock people who mindlessly praise shit tier corporate entertainment as being some great or fantastic work of art.
