I appreciate Vaushs content but he is kind of degenerate. He definitely has BTFOd many Nazi callers. The only one he couldn't defeat was Kraut.
Okay, so, I'll be the first to admit my first exposure to Vaush was just his debate with his equally incompetent yet intellectually inferior counterpart (although that's not saying much in both regards), Sargon. Thus, I haven't been viewing Vaush's content for too long.
However, although this thread is my first exposure to his degeneracy, his content is equally pathetic. Well, perhaps that's too harsh, but it still isn't something to write home about. He certainly
has dominated in debates against a few of his opponents, many of which self-identified as "Nazi" or "alt-right," but that isn't saying much considering his opponents were
cataclysmically stupid. In the same way I look at Sargon bumbling his way through poorly written hyper-leftie articles, Vaush's takedowns of double-digit IQ hyper-rightie opponents fails to impress me--although granted, it takes considerably more skill than what Sargon does.
I give credit where credit is due. Vaush at least Googles what he wants to talk about before speaking up, and he sticks to a position. That's almost entirely why he wins debates against woefully unprepared and amateurish opponents who often swap/abandoned/fail to support their positions on the fly, Sargon included. He might even be a step above and use Google Scholar to search for material. But Vaush is a good a debater as Sargon is a...person who...reads articles? "Commentator." Let's just call Sargon a "commentator." Anyway, I'm not aware of any debate he's had with Kraut, but if he lost that debate by your own admission, then that speaks even more poorly of his ability to argue considering Kraut is an absolute neanderthal.
You can like Vaush's debates. I certainly find them amusing myself, but only due to the sheer levels of stupidity his opponents operate on. But, and to continue my comparison with Sargon, just as anybody with a similar mindset can replicate Sargon's ability to read bottom-of-the-barrel news articles and guffaw at them, anybody with a similar mindset can take the place of Vaush in his debates and easily dismantle such embarrassingly clueless opponents.
Lastly, Vaush's opinions are stupid because I disagree with them, so hmph.
