the gist of the weight loss challenge is that Amy and Jen will be putting X dollars in a cookie jar representing each pound they lose and going back and forth doing challenges. Jen put a link to Amy’s channel in the description of her video but that’s all from Amy’s side.

This got recommended to me. At the time stamp, Amy talks about renewing Mystery Kid's passport which is "not a US citizen's passport." Why is this kid not a US citizen if he's legally adopted? Citizenship is automatic (from most nations) upon adoption papers being signed.

I bet she can't bend over to put shoes on them and that's why they don't wear them. Kind of embarrassing if your kid kicks off their shoe or sock and you can't even bend over to pick it up. So, no socks or shoes fixes that problem. Better that her kids risk frostbite or tetanus than for her to be embarrassed because she's too fat to do typical mom stuff.

Yeah, I think you've nailed it. Little kids need care that involves a lot of bending, sometimes getting down on the floor to deal with their needs. Amy cannot do that. So her solution, being the trashy self-centred cow she is, is basically to abandon the tasks completely and cook up some self-justification as to why that's perfectly OK or even better than any other parent.

None of these 500lb people cannot take basic care of their own bodies, or perform normal childcare tasks. Some are just sneakier about revealing just how little they can do and others let it all hang out. They're all a few more pounds and a few more years from being the yelling, controlling Beast in a Bed whose children actually become their own parent's full-time caregivers, shopping, feeding, dressing and washing them, as seen on 600lb life and other shows.

Yes! I don't care about the kids so much (sorry kids!) but that I hope that poor skunk gets out of this shitshow and soon. I said this in the Fat Acceptance thread before Amy got her own, but skunks are prone to metabolic bone disease if they don't have a properly balanced diet. I'm more familiar with opossum diets than skunks but I think that it's very similar, with skunks needing more protein. I volunteer at a wildlife clinic and we've had a few opossums come in that were kept as pets by well-meaning but uninformed people that had serious mobility problems due to bad diets. One was severly malnourished and had major mobility problems due to his owner feeding him hot dogs, so I see our boy the skunk ending up the same way.
