even if they sell it for 60k$ and he has to pay 40k$ i dont think it would be a big problem for him. he most likely has a decent amount saved up. i would guess around 500k - 1000k $.
If DSP had 500K saved up he could go 5 years without working and spend the same amount of money he's spending now. If he had 1M saved up he could go 10. He could actually go longer since he would't be paying $30K on various taxes each year.

There is no fucking way he has anywhere from half to a full million dollars saved up.
why not? he made hundred thousands / year during the youtube heydays

edit: most of you are underestimating philbert. yes, he is a lazy disgusting piece of shit, but he is a professional scamartist. part of his scam is to pretend to be broke with no money saved up.

When he made that YouTube money, he went on expensive trips and splashed out for $300/night hotel suites. He's done one trip with Kat (when his internet "stopped working" conveniently over a weekend).

He does not have $500k saved up and you are fucking high if you think that.

If DSP had $500K saved up, there would be something for the bank foreclosing on him to seize.

It's hard to estimate how much Phil is lying about his financial status, but he has lied so you never know. He definitely has never been "can't turn the heat on" poor like he's suggested he was. I highly doubt he could only afford taking shitty selfies in his Mommy's spare bedroom the day of his wedding either, the biggest flexing day of his life where he was drunk tweeting. Who knows with Phil.

I suppose there is no way to prove Phil doesn't have a million dollars saved up.

What we can prove is that when he was making good money, he would spend it as fast as it came in. Leasing a BMW, going to conventions around the country. "If you go to a hotel you obviously want the most expensive room" vacations. Buying a half dozen blue rays weekly. Buying statues and video game paintings. Impulse buying garbage at the mall weekly. Steak and lobster dinners on the regular, fast food multiple times a week. Watch some of the old videos with food, he uses paper plates for every meal. $3000 computer that he didnt know how to use so he threw it in the closet. Trips with Leanna all around the USA in the best hotel rooms. Litres and litres of top shelf gin. Hundreds of dollars in K-cups for his keurig and he doesn't drink coffee. Multiple pairs of high end headphones just to test them out. 3D television. 2 internet lines and 3 cable television boxes. Thousands of dollars on new furniture. Hundreds on new "big boy" art. He spent over $100 on the garbage can for his kitchen. The collector's edition of every game that came out. Over a hundred dollars on the Adam West Batman complete TV series DVD set. Loot crates, custom made sports jerseys, custom shirts, mugs, and a clock with his logo. I could go on and on.

Point is, if Phil had money he would be spending it. He wouldn't be using a broken keyboard and eating tuna casserole.

As Actually has already pointed out, he wasted all his money on shit he couldn't actually afford cause he assumed his Youtube heyday money would be never-ending.

No, he is NOT a professional scam artist. He's a lazy internet-autistic manchild whose only saving grace has been that he's a magnet for people with actual autism who think he's an inspiration/tragic victim and think we're a bunch of jealous bullies.

I was in the middle of typing a similar list, but you beat me to the punch there.
You did forget the biggest one of all, buying a new home before getting his old place sold, which led to him paying for two residences for however fucking long it was.

That action also brings up another thing about Phil that shows why he'd never have a large savings. Phil always thinks about the here and now and never plans for the future. This is the guy that recites "TIPPING HELPS ME THE MOST BECAUSE I GET THOSE FUNDS RIGHT AWAY" multiple times on a daily basis. He bought whatever he wanted when he was at his peak, and even now when things aren't going so well for him, he still makes his share of non-essential purchases despite "no disposable income".

And honestly, even if Phil lived a more modest lifestyle, I don't think saving up a million or half million is realistic when considering his average income across all the years he's been "working".

Easily one of the dumbest fucking posts I’ve ever seen. Phil is perpetually in debt. If he had that kind of bread saved up, why not pay off the condo and avoid foreclosure all together? It doesn’t make any sense considering his current situation.

But if Khet had that much in a savings account prior to getting married, would they be able to touch it? Even if they go through his statements and they see that just 2 days before they got legally adult married he transferred this huge sum to her... (thus beginning HER tax saga...)

If Kat had money saved up, why did she wait until her tax return to buy a PS4?

She's broke too.

If he transferred a huge amount of money to her shortly before they got married, then went on Twitch/YouTube and said he's just going to stop paying one of his creditors, then stopped paying the creditor, a court would disregard that transfer and consider it his money.

Yeah, Phil's been financially irresponsible from the beginning. I happened on Knudsen's Down the Rabbit Hole vid about him the other evening and was amused to learn that when cranky young Phil launched his career as global gaming star, he did it by signing up for a bunch of credit cards and maxing them on his first tournament trip.

Since he thinks it's savvy to make only minimum payments, that initial debt is probably still following him around, a festering core at the center of all his dumbass interest-enhanced consumer debt.
