This reminds me awhile ago when people were making up fake accusations about Onision and that the actual victims told them to stop. My best guess is that they fall into this group or this is legit Onision. If you're an actual victim, you'd think you would contact Vincent or Hansen privately and not come off as gossiping. But I don't use Twitter so I have no idea.

Its not really a criteria of ways a legit victim should act thats getting to me, I get that people can react to shit in different ways and blah blah blah. And tbh, I don't even know if I could begin to come up with a criteria for how a legit victim should act anyways, thats way beyond my basic bitch shitposting ways.

Alopecia doesn't just mean that your body will not produce hair. It can also mean that the hair that is made is very sparse, fine etc, and may be pigmented white.

That's a sock. Baiting to feed false info. Scouting for people snooping. Paint a picture of the investigation nexus etc. could be any of that. If it was a victim, they would have no reason to keep it secret, Onions only weapon has always been blackmailing personal info, and at this point even if the victim was into shitplay dressed like a monkey, it would look bad for Onion to leak it. You realize outside of shaming insecure victims, he doesn't have much up his sleeve.

Reverse engineer the outcome. Ask yourself what options onionman has that are realistic to get himself out of this, and then work your way up to this point. We're at accusations with an alleged investigation. That has one foot in the door into an investigation, if the CP claims turn out to be true.

I think there is a legal difference between old media and new media, although the ramifications of saying things on the internet might still be in flux, since it's so new.

I like the points he made about the sincerity of some of the things said, like the "call from youtube" was likely a real call from Dawsons lawyers. You can never know for sure but it would make sense.

It's a civil matter, though, and someone would have to bother bringing suit against them. It's not something the cops do. Most YouTubers either don't make enough money to hire attorneys, or have a big enough platform the slanderers are a mere mosquito in their ear.
