As a point to make that there appear to have been transsexuals throughout history, not just for convenience (women wearing men's clothes so they could go to war, etc). Then again Jeanne d'Arc was obviously a transman else she would not have been persecuted by the Church, and had nothing to do with a rather brutal war going on at the time between England and France...

I've seen more and more troons calling themselves transfemme/transmasc, because being trans in and of itself isn't special enough- gotta throw nonbinary in the mix for maximum oppression points. Even more disturbing is the rising trend of genderspecials using "it/its/itself." Not sure if they do it because they have Mariana trench levels of low self-esteem or if it makes them feel more like a sex object.

Is it a gender transition in the close sense though, when you 'transition' into an alien fantasy you made up? Looks more like cosmetic surgery plus castration to me.

It is precisely because handedness is more complicated than "96% of people are straight up right-handed and the 4 other percent are mirror images of that" that the paper below has to fuck around with 4th degree polynomials to try to model the relationship between handedness and their other variable, in this case mathematical ability.
