No. Local cops don't really have any jurisdiction over immigration. If she already had a removal order, then a small number departments would have detained her and called ICE for political points in certain parts of the country (ie publicly assisting in deportations can help Sheriff Hunter Bumfuck secure re-election in Trump country). Most don't want to bother with the effort or paperwork though and will just put her charge into the national database so it can be referenced whenever DHS does an investigation into her status. At that point, it'll be up to an immigration court to decide whether or not her assault charge is grounds to deport her. Proceedings like this can take 10+ years, especially since DHS doesn't give a shit about battered Canadian housewives when there's still so many Honduran gangbangers running around California.
