I have known a lot of trans men. I have known many that tried their damnedest to fit in with women and be feminine. Some that even hypersexualized themselves because of the disconnect from or lack of respect for their body. But this? No. Never. Not once

Part of an anime game. There's loads of historical male characters that got the genderswap treatment as well.

They turned Mordred into a girl cause waifu franchise and her character arc in Fate/Apocrypha was about how she wanted to hide that fact to dethrone king arthur and she didn't want to be called a girl. Eventually, though, she makes peace with her circumstances and in the mobile game they just treat her like a tomboyish girl who wears a suit as formal attire and takes on male roles in parody events but still wears a bikini in her summer alt and is treated as a female for game mechanics.

Well damn, I was totally going to reblog that stunning masterpiece until the banner stopped me. In case any non-Fate fans are wondering, Mordred is just a tomboy who is literally weak to attacks that are strong against women in the mobile game and Astolfo and D'eon are just traps.

basically, if a character breaks gender stereotypes (dressing femininely if male/behaving in a masculine way if female) they're trans?
imagine my shock, these people are the most strict followers of the gender binary.

also they did Queen of Sheba dirty, drawing her like she has some kind of deformity. she doesn't look nearly as cute as she should.

I don't know if anyone else has seen this post on twitter about how Raihan from Pokemon Sword and Shield is "black" somehow and you have to use the exact hex code for his skin or else you're a whitewashing racist. Like these people aren't slick. Its some backhanded, passive-aggressive way as a means to harass artists over something insignificant. But they claim its necessary to do this so that people get proper representation. It's basically the Nessa shit all over again and I know for a fact that they're going exaggerate Raihan's features to make him look like a racial caricature.

It's literally so simple, if the skintone is changed with the intention of changing the characters race, it's whitewashing. If it's lighter for any other reason that's probably not whitewashing.
