I wonder how much his stupid movie goal contributed to this mess. It's like the only goal there and was a bad idea from day 1. I would not be surprised if, on realizing he couldn't do it, he just kinda went in circles unable to own up to his own inability. It's the sort of depressive cycle that isn't unusual.

While its universally agreed to have been the point of no return for his life, it's still something I like to think about. I wonder how much, if at all, did he even try to begin the process. His announcement video showed that he was not exactly thrilled with that goal being reached. I wonder if he really did give it an honest shot at first but as soon as the scale of what he would need became apparent, he might have had one of those one-in-a-million moments of clarity and realized in that moment: I cannot do this. I do not have the talent to do this.

This would coincide with his overall egotism and to come to such a conclusion for a man who is so arrogant on his own WOULD be extremely crushing. I know this is but it would explain his catastrophic shift. A man who thinks he can do no wrong realizes something will forever be out of his grasp. Now all he can do is lash out at the world for "failing him" by not giving him the talent and mindset for him to be able to have what he wanted without having to work for it.

I don't think Spoony's Patreon is a problem with the site, just his pathetic fanbase who are either too well-off to even remember recurring subscriptions they have, or who are donating knowing it's for nothing in return.

With regular creators on that site, if the creator changes their content or fucks you over, you simply stop donating to them. For whatever reason Spoony's degenerate hugbox of a following stopped expecting content in return for their payments a long time ago, but this is very rare. Usually people using the site being of sound mind use it as an incentive to continue to do what they are being paid for.
