Her video's arnt very good, She's either a paid shill for Star Wars or she's genuinly stupid enough to fangirl for the new movies-in my opninion shilling for star wars has more dignity at this stage as their's a logical gain. She acts like a complete dick online and she willingly spends time with Dan Olson she's a lolcow just not very prominant one.
She's also an adult Human being who likes Porgs so deserves to be shamed at every chance you get.
Personally I think the fact she looks like the smart upper middle class chick who works in your office throws people off how much of a dullard she is. If she looked like Ryulong or Clawshrimpy her reputation would be representive of her merit and if she looked like an e-thot people would be way more comfortable making fun of her.

Jesus Christ this threads a fucking mess. I thought most of the content here would be about how sheltered she appears to be in her videos. Stop mixing in Mauler's autism here, while I wouldn't consider her a lolcow I consider her content really easy to mock sometimes. I remember when she said that she couldn't even understand why clown rental services existed in Joker and couldn't comprehend that people can be shitty in a city. She isn't a bad person probably, she has a clean history as far as I know, but her naivity really perplexes me sometimes. It's hard to tell if she is being facetious or her occasional bad film takes are genuine sometimes.

I think the bad film takes are genuine since she really has no reason to fake them. But now that you mention how sheltered and naive she is, it really made me wonder. I personally don't care if you're 50 and into shit like MLP or collect porg dolls, I mean yeah it's weird but you do you man. But she really does act like she's a teen girl, which should be judged since she's like 27 or 26? She's every neckbeard's wet dream: a shy young geeky girl who may or may not have autism. I really don't know if that's actually what she's like or if she's faking it, that's worth speculating about.

Generally this isn't her biggest social media presence. It looks like she set up this account to cater to the fans of Friendship is Witchcraft (her series) and forgot about it a long time ago. Possibly before she ditched MLP entirely.

The series was apparently somewhat popular, and Jenny and Griffin seem to have just stopped liking MLP and moved on. At the very least they stopped wanting to do the work to animate and voice parody content. The lengthening times between their releases caused their fan communities on other sites to say the show was dead. They didn't help the matter when they said they would start producing other content- namely, movie and videogame reviews. Though we know in hindsight that this is exactly what Jenny moved on to, and what caused her split from the fandom, they reassured their fans that they would continue the series.

Like an actual, serious fic? If you're talking about the Friendship is Witchcraft episode I'm not sure I'd count that since besides being played for laughs I always got the impression that it was making fun of weird incest fics, especially ones that try to use "non-biologically related" as an excuse for it.

We don't know if she literally cuts a paycheck from shilling Disney, but we do know about the access and swag she gets as part of Disney's network of shills. And we know that access is very lucrative because it enables an "influencer" to review a product on youtube before any other person, generating tons of views and boosting name/channel recognition. Jenny is also not a total mongoloid, so she knows that she can't give a bad movie a good review if she wants to retain the trust of her subscribers and she can't give a bad movie a bad review because then she'll blow her relationship with Disney. Instead, she sits on a tepid review for a month so that when she does release it nobody will care because the damage is already done.
Its not a coincidence that her TLJ review came out the day before its official release, but she's sitting on the RotS for weeks despite having gone to the premier.

Also even if she isn't directly paid to shill (which her perks and bennies suggest she might be), her job at Disney Land might be contingent on her not disparaging Disney in certain ways. The control they have over people who work for them is onerous and only quasi-legal. Working there is sort of like being part of a cult.

Jenny doesnt seem very lolcow compared to her detractors, also she has said enough horrible things about star wars on her channel that there is no way in hell shes being overly bribed. Think about how few shills criticize the mouse, and notice you could make an hour compilation of her shitting on the films. She was extremely critical of solo and rogue one, and was apprehensive about force awakens and has shit on the theme park as well. Shes getting a thread here because she didnt like the joker and liked last jedi. Outside of those two things shes pretty much like the rest of us.

I doubt she's on Disney's "payroll." She definitely gets freebies but she has nearly 5K patreonis who are going to be mostly Disney fans and she knows her audience. If you would rather watch an autist reeee about "The Rat" in a 12 hour video there are plenty of other options.
