I agree that some of the minor MAPs aren't really pedos. They are trying to be edgy and in a time when you can parade your kinks around with pride, what else is left? Some others may be confused because they might like someone who is a year or two younger and they don't understand what true pedophilia is. Some probably think that being MAP means they see themselves as adult enough to consent to sex and they don't understand why their stupid parents don't want them to date 20 year olds. Most of it is just LARPing on line for the fun of shocking people.
I'm sure younger pedos do exist, but I don't think there are as many of them as you would think by looking at Twitter.
