I agree with that. Even if he is gay, his testosterone is so low, that it doesn't matter. The guy is emotionally stunted at the age of 13 or something. The only two reasons he is with Alison is that she was the initiator of their relationship and that she is too far away to care about dumping her. You know, like you have a YouTube subscription for someone you don't watch anymore, but he uploads stuff so rarely, that you don't care enough to unsubscribe.

It's really obvious that he came prepared with notes and facts like box office numbers and such and she contributed nothing but plot point recap and "lul man wasn't that INSANE". At one point she couldn't even recall the main character cat's name...the Jennifer Hudson one she literally changed her twitter pic to after the trailer dropped. What a fucking poser. She does no research and has no clue what she's talking about. She literally can not bother putting effort into anything. At least film brain tried. And The vid was at 5k views when I saw days after release it so it's basically dead in the water.

Because it's so cool blocking hundreds or thousands of random accounts that have never harassed you and don't even know who you are because they might someday based on following someone you don't like. I was a fan of tgwtg in middle school. Marzgurl would mispronounce words constantly, Linkara was a cuck before being a cuck was cool, Nostalgia Critic may have shrieked a little too much, but I still enjoyed them. Even as a spergy child that unironically enjoyed all of that, I could never stand Lupa. She would drag any review she took part in to the ocean floor. I blame her for Phelous declining in quality, and I'm glad she's getting the shit she deserves.

The more time passes the more I think that whole persona of liking B and Z movie trash is just that, a persona. It's not who she really is. She has obviously seen these movies and maybe liked some of them, but she never goes beyond the mainstream B movies like Tremors or Evil Dead. The only time she steps out of her comfort zone is when she trying to force the next "viral hit". She seems to have this idea that she unique and quirky because she's a girl that like bad horror movies. That's not unusual at all. It's like thinking you're not like the other girls because you play video games.

I remember on her old twitter years ago when I used to follow her someone brought up that she should do a review on the movie Slugs. She said she wouldn't because it looks too gross or something like that. Slugs should be right up her alley. There's a lot of movies that she could review for years, but I don't think she will because she is that big a fan.

I remember her in crossovers having the running gag of everone being in love with her and she in response would give the teehee silly bois routine. This is a major factor as to why Allison is irrelevant. Nobody watches online reviewers for wacky characters or sketches because most people actually want to be informed given how online content evolved with creators like YMS and certain creators that used to do sketches adapting to that while Allison did not evolve her content at all.

Exactly. This is so painfully obvious and the key to all her issues. She is not into B movies for real. She might get some enjoyment out of it but they aren't a passion and it shows. My only explanation for that is that this is what she did to her old Lupa persona, even though the red hair and SD camera setup and movie taste made her at about a 5.5/10. Maybe at worst because at least she wasn’t too out of a CA watcher’s league.

I watched both her and Brad's Karate Christmas review videos... Allison goes on and on about how baffling the film is and how she's completely perplexed over how this movie was made and why it's so crazy. Brad, on the other hand, knows the director's history and explains that it was made with footage from his previous films, what those films were and why it's like that. Essentially, Allison is just pointing and saying "look how wacky" for 30 minutes, while Brad informs you and gives you a better, more nuanced understanding of the film, while still scoring the same easy points from showing clips of the wacky movie's wackiness at the same time. Like, you'd get that just from watching the movie itself. So Allison's video is just an unlicensed abridged version of the movie, where her narration explains the gaps between clips, while Brad actually adds value with additional insight you wouldn't get from watching the movie.
